Nikki's POV
One month later
Darius ended up staying and letting everyone else leave and go back home. So he has been staying with us because I refused to move out and go stay in some apartment or hotel with him. So he stayed with us to be more helpful with Princess.
Ever since he has been here, he has been spoiling my baby. He has gotten her every pair of Jordan's there is and he talking bout he going to get her every pair of Jordan's when it first come out. She likes it too, he go buy her clothes, shoes, and toys.
She's always smiling and cheesing hard when he's around, and she really thinking he's all hers. I can't hug, kiss, or cuddle with him without her crying for him. He only laughs like its funny, when she really becoming possessive and controlling.
She wasn't like this before he came, so I'm blaming this on him. "Hey baby I'm taking Princess to the playground, you coming?" He asked drying her off after he washed her up. "Yea, but why so early?" I asked drinking my coffee.
"Because this is the usual time Princess and I go on our father daughter morning walks. We enjoy outside, we spend some time together, and enjoy the peace and quiet." He said getting her dressed.
"I guess I will go, I'll just find my quote for today when we get back. I said before going to get in the shower.
After showering I did my hygiene thing then got dressed and brushes my hair down. By the time I was done, I walked into the living room to see Darius sitting on the couch and Princess strapped into her stroller.
"About time, you took four years." Darius said as he stood up. "Oh okay next time I'll leave in my pajamas." I said crossing my arms. "I was playing, you look good though." He said wrapping his arms around my waist and kissing my neck.
"That's what I thought," I said smiling just before Princess started crying. "That's what I thought," Darius said pointing to Princess. "She's only like this because of you," I said crossing my arms again.
"I know baby, mommy being mean. Trying to steal daddy from his baby, mm she should be disappointed in herself stealing from her own flesh and blood." He said jokingly shaking his head.
"Whatever, if anything she's stealing you from me." I said laughing just as Ne'yah and Tiffany walked in. "Hey, good morning. What's for breakfast?" Tiffany asked sitting at the table.
"Y'all are too comfortable with me cooking for y'all. I don't even cook for myself, this is the most I've ever cooked in a month." Darius said laughing. "Yes, unfortunately Darius is taking a break to take Princess on their normal morning walks that no one knew about. I'll be joining them today, so make your own breakfast for once." I said laughing.
"Dang it, it was good while it lasted. We're back to struggling in the morning with cake, ice cream, yogurt, or coffee." Ne'yah said. "The struggle is real," Tiffany said disappointed making everyone laugh.
"Okay have fun with that, bye." I said as I opened the door. Kevin walked in alone as he has been for two weeks now. "What's his excuse for not coming to see us now?" Tiffany asked.
"He's meeting up with some girl," Kevin said sitting on the couch after dapping Darius up. "Well at least it's not a stupid excuse this time. It's actually a legit reason this time." I said laughing.
Darius and I walked out and closed the door behind us. As we were walking down the hall a girl came out her room with jogging clothes on. "Hey Darius," the girl said flirtatiously as she waved with a smile on her face.
"Wassup?" He asked as we kept walking.
