555-4877. That number kept repeating in my head over and over. I didn't know Hannah. I knew she's dead, but I didn't actually know her. I knew what happened, but I didn't know her! Why would Mrs. Vasquez want to talk to me?! Other people knew her better. 555-4877.
Ashlie's P.O.V
From downstairs I could hear my phone ringing in my room. I ran up the stairs and into my room. If I would have walked, it would've gone to missed call. It usually does.
"Hello?" I answered the phone.
"I ran into Hannah's mom at Krispy Kreme!" Allison said practically yelling at me.
"What did she sa-" I started.
"She gave me her number and told me to call her! Ashlie, I didn't know Hannah! What if she asks me if I know anything?!" she pleaded.
"You're not going to go are you?" I asked.
"Well I don't know. I thought about it." Allison muttered.
Allison's P.O.V
I rang the doorbell then took about two steps back so I wasn't right I front of the big, white, double door.
"Hi." She said very friendly.
"Hi Mrs. Vasquez, um, I called earlier. I'm the girl from Krispy Kreme. You gave me your number and told me to give you a call." I stammered.
"Oh, yes, I remember and please, call me Lanette. Come in." she insisted.
I waved goodbye to my dad signaling him it was okay to leave as I stepped into the house. My first sight was a foyer with a large entrance into a room with a fireplace lit, and a large couch. To my left and right on each side of the large doorway, were two smaller doors with the lights turned off. Next to the door on the right was a half cherry oak table with a bouquet of sunflowers and a picture with Lanette, Hannah, a man and two younger girls which I was guessing were Hannah's sisters. To the left in front of the door was a large staircase with a cherry oak railing that spiral wrapped around itself on the end.

"I just, don't know what could've happened." Lanette sobbed while wiping her right eye with a tissue.
"I am so sorry. I didn't know Hannah that well. I'm not really one of those social people that likes to make new friends. I do know who was one of her closest friends since she had moved here, Caitlin." I said rubbing my arms because it was a little cold in the room.
"Are you friends with Caitlin?" she asked.
"No, not really. We have this sort of love-hate relationship. We don't like each other much but we get along." I said.
There was a car honking outside the house. Lanette walked over and opened the door.
"I think someone is here to pick you up." she said.
"Oh, okay." I said.
I walked over to the door and then stopped. She was smiling, her eyes all teary from crying, and her laugh lines showing from her smile. I smiled back at her and hugged her, making her cry again.
"Goodbye." I said.
"Bye honey. It was nice talking to you." Lanette said.
"You too." I yelled back to her opening the car door.
I got in and buckled my seat belt.
"Well, what are you waiting for, mom? Go!" I laughed.
How could I hug her like nothing was my fault? I didn't lie to her, but at the same time I did because I didn't tell her.
"Geez mom, turn off the AC!" I grumbled.
"It isn't on!" she grumbled back at me.
"I've been cold. I don't know why." I said.
It was a long ride home. Her house so nice and homey. It smelled a sweet smell of fresh apples and cinnamon with everything nice, clean and made. I kept thinking of how her house looked, smelled, and how tightly she squeezed me when she hugged me.
************
When I got home, I went to my room, put on a large t-shirt and yoga pants. I laid down in my bed, with the lights turned off, and my tv turned on. I just loved watching Tom and Jerry. Although I'm 15, almost 16, I still love Tom and Jerry. It was only 7:00 but I was very tired and before I knew it, my eyes were drifting shut.
"Allison! Allison! Allison! Wake up!" I heard someone whispering to me.
I awoken, sat up, and looked around my room. Tom and Jerry wasn't on tv anymore, now it was Kim Possible. They're playing all of these old shows, yes!! I still got up, turned on my light and turned off my tv. No one was in my room. I was kind of spooked that I had heard someone, but no one was there. I turned off my light but kept on a lamp beside my bed. I didn't want to turn off any lights now that I was scared that I heard someone calling my name. I sat back down in bed, pulled the covers over me and pulled my knees to my chest. I sat there just looking around. I finally got the courage to turn off my lamp and go back to sleep. It's 12:51 am. I reached over to turn off my lamp when I suddenly got cold again. Okay, seriously, what's up with all of these cold flashes lately? I turned off my lamp and slouched down into my bed. I started closing my eyes and drifting back into sleep.
"Allison! Stop! You can't go to sleep! I heard someone say again. Now, I'm really spooked. I jumped out of bed, turned on my light, then ran and jumped back into bed. I looked around everywhere. I happened to glance back over to my pink moon chair in the corner of my room.
"Hannah?" I whispered scaredly.
"Hello, Allison." she said very nice.
"Wh-what are you doing here?" I stuttered.
"I have come back to tell you something." Hannah said, standing up and walking towards my bed.
"We-well, wh-what." I stuttered again.
"I didn't fall." she said falling onto the floor and down into it.
