Allison's P.O.V

"Oh my" I started.

"God." Ashlie finished.

Hannah's P.O.V

"Did you see the looks on their faces? That was priceless!" I said laughing and setting my keys on the kitchen counter.

"Yes I know! I Wish I could've kept that moment for forever." Caitlin said also laughing.

"Wow, I know it was completely planned but still." I said laughing. "And thanks for your help Justin." I finished placing my hand on his large arm.

"What do they look like?" Justin asked.

"Um, one has blonde hair. That's Allison. Ashlie has dark brown hair. They're both pretty tall but Allison is a little taller." I described.

"Oh yeah, I talked to them." Justin said.

"Good." I smirked.

Allison's P.O.V

I pulled my phone out of my pocket to stop the annoying ringing.

"Hello?" I answered.

I heard nothing from the other side.

"Hello?" I said again.

I still heard nothing but silence.

"Hello??" I said one last time.

I took my phone down from my ear about to touch the end button when I hear something. I decide to try again.

"Hello????" I said now very annoyed.

I heard just breathing from the other end of the line.

"If you have something to say, then say it." I snapped.

Silence.

I stood slouched to the side with my hand on my hip and my other hand holding my phone to my ear.

Silence still.

I waited longer maybe waiting for something, I had this feeling that I couldn't hang up.

"I'm still waiting." I snapped again.

"Allison." The deep voice growled through the phone.

Chills ran through my entire body. Now I said nothing.

"It will never be over. Oh, Allison, sweetie, it's just begun." The low raspy voice said.

"Look I don't know wh-" I started before being interrupted by the long drawn out beep of disappointment.

Hannah's P.O.V

I hung up the phone and placed it on the kitchen counter.

"Caitlin, can you do me a favor?" I said to her with the biggest smirk on my face.

"Yeah, sure." She said back turning around towards me.

"I need you to go to town and get me a postcard. Find one with trees on it from Westonburg." I explained.

"Okay, what for?" She asked.

"I want you to get it so I can send it to Allison. Actually, get me two. One for Allison and one for Ashlie." I said.

Ashlie's P.O.V

"I sit on the curb and count the cars go by

One after one.

I keep track as I also watch the leaves turn colors

One after one."

I wrote this poem as I said, sat on the curb and watched the cars go by one after one.

I couldn't help but think of my father who used to play outside with me in the beginning of fall. He would rake up all of the leaves off the ground for me considering the rake was taller than I.

I sat in silence as it seemed for me but really all the cars driving by, honking horns, revving engines, slowing old brakes, I tuned it all out as I sat in my flashback.

Lisa's P.O.V

I opened my eyes.

I looked around unable to sit up. I stopped my eyes when I saw someone sitting in a chair.

"Are you the nurse?" I said confused,

"No." They simply said back.

"Who are you?" I questioned.

"My name is Courtney, Courtney Haven." Courtney answered.

"Who are you then? How do you know me?" I questioned once again.

"I'm your daughter's friend. She's a killer." She said gritting her teeth.

"What? My daughter is not a killer! Nurse! Come in here!" I screamed but it seemed to come out slow and we were the only two people around.

"I have something I found. Deliver it to your daughter. Tell her it's from her long forgotten friend." She said handing me what seemed to be a postcard.

Courtney stood up from the chair beside my hospital bed and walked out of my room.

I turned over the card to read

'Dear Allison, I know you saw me. Now you know. Love always, your friend.'

I ripped the card into two pieces.

Allison's P.O.V

I opened the hospital door and to the receptionist. I signed a sign in sheet then set down the pen and made my way towards the elevator.

I opened the door to my mothers room. I saw two pieces sitting next to her hand. I picked up the two pieces and took a seat in the chair beside her bed. I put the two pieces together.

The woods? It looks like the thick woods that separates Westonburg and Smithville. I turned both pieces over and stuck them back together.

'Dear Allison, I know you saw me. Now you know. Love always, your friend.'

I ripped those two pieces into 5 more pieces and threw them into the trash.

I turned to my side and texted my elbows onto my mom's bed. I put my head down between my arms and thought about this.

I felt something brush against my arm, I looked up to see my mom barely touching my arm with her hand.

"Mom?" I whispered.

"Hi Honey." She whispered gripping my arm.

"Mom!" I said leaning over to wrap my arms around her.

"I know you aren't a killer." She whispered in my ear.

I loosened my grip around her and leaned up. I stared at her and watched her smile and close her eyes.

My stomach turned.
