Ashlie's P.O.V

I got home from the coffee shop to someething no one would expect.

I dropped the coffee out of my shaky hand that I had only taken two drinks of. I spilled all over the floor but I didn't even care.

"Dad..?" I said questionably.

"Yes, sweetheart."

I pulled myself up into the truck Jake and Allison were in. Allison turned around and looked at me from the passenger seat with a confused expression across her face. I just blankly stared at her as my dad also pulled himself up into the truck next to me. Then we took off. Where are we going? I don't know, as long as it had answers.

Allison's P.O.V

"Brother, where are we going?" I asked Jake.

"You'll soon see."

I was weary of my surroundings, also yet so confused. Why was I leaving who I thought were my parents and why did they have me?

I stared out my window and eventually drifted off to sleep.

"Allison! Wake up."

I awoke to this with an excited Ashlie hovering above me.

"What? Did I fall asleep?"

"Yes. We're here."

I pulled myself out of truck and grabbed my neck at the clenching pain overcoming it from being bent for so long. I followed closely behind Jake as we walked up to a large two story brick house. Jake didn't even knock but instead just opening the door and invited himself in.

I heard several gasps as soon as I walked inside. I flinched and cowered as I saw a woman whom I've never seen before running towards me.

"Allison! My baby!" This woman said running towards me, crying.

She stopped dead in her tracks as soon as she saw me scared of her approach.

This seemed to have made her cry more because I did not know who she was.

I did know who she was, I guessed anyways.

"Mom." I said with no tone in my voice.

She just smiled teary eyed and slowly came in to a hug.

I heard Ashlie and her father walk in to the creaky floor boards behind me, but also someone else that was not accounted for.

I quickly pulled out of my mom's grasp and turned.

There was a man and a woman who I knew quite well.

"Come on, sweetie, what are you doing here?" The woman said.

"Mom, I mean, whoever you are, get out!" I yelled at her.

"Allison, let me handle this." My real mom said pushing past me.

"Nancy, leave. Before I call the cops."

"Who are you calling Nancy? My name is Lisa."

My mother pushed past me once again to grab a phone and dialed in 3 numbers which it guessed was 911.

Ashlie and her dad just stood next to this observing all of it.

My mother walked somewhere else, but Nancy didn't seem to care, nor did the man standing next to her.

I stood face to face with the man and woman who lied to me my whole life.

"Allison, princess." The man said stepping up and grabbing a hold of my fore arm.

"LEAVE ME ALONE! I DON'T KNOW WHO YOU ARE!" I said throwing a kick at his stomach.

He clenched his stomach in pain.

"GO TO HELL!" I screamed once more.

My mom came back in and secretively smirked at me. I didn't know my mother or her personality, but by this simple gesture I knew I was exactly like her.

"Nancy, Tom, it's about time you give up your little game that's gone on way too long." My mom said stepping forward. "Oh, look, here comes the police now."

Nancy and Tom tried to make a run for it until my dad walked in front of them to make a stop.

That was the last time I saw who I thought were my parents. I didn't see their arrest, I didn't want to, to know that my whole life has been a lie, and to know that my parents aren't actually my parents, that's hard.

I made my real mom take me into another room to explain everything.

"Okay, this is going to be hard to say, but sweetie first off I just want to let you know I have always loved you so much. I spent day after day and year after year searching for you."

"Mom I know, it's going to hard for me too, but please start from the beginning."

"Okay, well, it all started when you were a baby..."
