Allison's P.O.V

"ASHLIE!" I screamed at the top of my lungs.

"WHAT?!" I heard an irritated voice call from the bottom of the stairs.

I don't think I've ever felt so relieved to hear her voice.

"What do you want?" She said pausing a little bit after each word.

I ran over to her and wrapped my arms so tightly around her that we both thought I was never going to let go.

"I have never been so glad to hear your voice in my whole life." I said with the biggest smile ever.

"What are you talking about?" She said flopping down on my bed.

I flopped down next to her.

"Don't worry about it. Just leave it at that." I said still smiling.

"Well, okay?" Ashlie said confused.

It was all a dream. A big dream. It seemed like it lasted days.

What was I thinking? Magic? I have been watching way too much tv.

I giggled a little bit to myself causing Ashlie to quickly turn and look at me furrowing her eyebrows.

I laughed at that too.

Ashlie's P.O.V

I walked into Starbucks with Allison ready to start my day. Sort of.

"Hi, Welcome to Starbucks!" The friendly blonde cashier said to me.

"Hi, um I'll have a grande iced macchiato." I said looking around at the menu.

"Okay, is that all? She asked me, still smiling with that I don't want to be here smile.

"I'll take a Tall Caramel Frap." Allison butted in.

"Okay, your total is 8.54." She grabbed two different sized cups. "What's your names?"

"Allison." Allison said then walked over to the pick up counter.

She looked up after writing Allison on the smaller cup and looked at me.

"Ashlie. A-S-H-L-I-E." I had to spell it out for her because usually they spell it wrong.

"They will be done shortly." She said then set my cup on a small area next to her.

We waited about a minute before both of ours were done. We grabbed them, stuck in a straw, and went on our way.

We walked down the busy sidewalk of Westonburg talking about meaningless things that girls usually talk about.

"Hey, watch it!" I said to a tall, bulky man who ran into me.

"I'm sorry, miss." He said in his deep, raspy voice.

We finally made it back to my car which I had parked about a block down the street so I didn't have to park it on the main road.

I put my coffee on the top of my car and reached in my purse for my keys.

"Come on! Hurry up it's cold!" Allison said with one hand in her coat pocket and the other on the passenger door handle.

"I'm trying I can't find my keys! I could've swore I put them right on top!" I said now taking things out and still looking.

"Ugh!" Allison growled as she walked over towards me. "Let me see that!"

She grabbed my purse out of my hands, pulling things out and throwing them on the ground.

"Hey! Stop!" I snapped.
