Allison's P.O.V
I walked into the house behind my sister, I ran upstairs to my room, shut me door behind me, and pulled out my phone.
I looked back at the recent calls to find Jake's number.
I tapped it and stuck it up to my ear.
It rang 4 times before someone picked up.
"Hello?" His deep voice answered.
"How did you get my number? Tell me!" I demanded.
"You gave it to me, remember?" He said.
"No, I didn't." I said trying to recall it. "You gave me yours and told me to call you."
I already knew this friendship was getting off to a bad start.
I waited for an answer when I heard the beeping to signal he hung up.
I glared at my phone screen.
I went back to my recent calls and tapped on his number once again.
I wasn't expecting an answer and that is what I got.
I threw my phone down on my bed in frustration.
Jake's P.O.V
"What am I gonna do? What am I gonna do?" I muttered to myself as I paced back and forth across my living room.
My phone started buzzing and ringing on my couch.
I picked it up and looked at who was calling. I pressed the button to silence it.
I grabbed my hair on both sides and pulled.
"I am so stupid!!" I yelled.
Ashlie's P.O.V
I ran to my room as my phone rang trying to reach it in time.
I picked it up when I saw it was Allison.
"Hello?" I said.
"Ashlie! I have so much to tell you! You ready to hear all of it?" She asked me.
Right before I answered I noticed something small stuffed under my pillow.
I set the phone down on my bed.
My volume was so loud on it I could Allison on the other side saying my name but I was focused on this.
I picked up the small envelope.
The point of the flap stuck onto it had a red heart sticker.
I ripped it open, anxious to see what was inside.
'My dear Ashlie,
Just know I always loved you, I still do, and always will.
Love, Dad'
I stared at it in astonishment. My eyes got real wide and I said no over and over to myself.
I could still hear Allison saying my name on the phone sitting on my bed, but I didn't care right now and just stared at my wall.
"No no no no no." I said to myself. "This isn't possible. He died. I saw him go with my own eyes."
It was all a haze, but yet at the same time perfectly clear.

"How was your day sweetheart?" My dad asked me as I stepped into the front seat of the car after my first day of second grade.
"It was great, daddy! We colored pictures of school buses and other kids standing around it. We went outside and I finally got to see Aubrey!" I said excitedly as I buckled in my seat belt ready to go.
