as soon as pete and patrick walked in the front door they could hear yelling and screaming. brendon walked up to them. " hey you must be patrick."

patrick nodded. " you must be brendon."

brendon smiled and nodded. " yep. hold on a minute." brendon cleared his throat. " dallon get over here !"

a few moments later a really tall guy comes over. it must be dallon. " i'm dallon." the tall guy says.

" i'm patrick."

" i'm pete." said pete , looking around the house.

" are andy and joe here yet?" patrick asked.

brendon nodded. " in there." he pointed to a room down the hallway.

" thanks and it was nice meeting you guys." patrick smiled and then went to find andy and joe.

andy and joe were both playing some party game. patrick didn't recognize it. " hey."

" you're finally here !" andy said.

" wanna play ?" joe asked.

patrick shook his head. " no thanks."

" okay let us know if you change your mind." andy smiled.

patrick turned around and to meet back up with pete. but when patrick went back pete was out of sight. so we're brendon and dallon.

patrick walked around the house but he couldn't find them anywhere. after a while he gave up and went into an empty room. he sat on the bed and pulled out his phone to send a message to pete.

patrickstump : where are you ?

patrick waited for about five minutes but still no text back. it might be too loud for him to hear or his phone might be on vibrate. patrick shoved his phone back in his pocket and sat alone until someone opened the door. a boy.

" oh sorry." the boy said.

" it's fine." patrick said with a small smile.

the boy was about to leave but then he turned around again. " you look like you need some company. can i sit here ?" the boy asked pointing to the bed.

patrick nodded. " what's your name ?" the boy asked.

" i'm patrick."

" i'm tyler." tyler smiled. " so what are you doing in here all alone?"

" well i was here with my friend but then he ditched me and i can't find him so now i'm in here." patrick said.

" same. i came here with my friend and i told him i needed to go to the bathroom and he said he'd wait for me by the door but when i came out he was gone and i can't find him anywhere." tyler sighed.

" i can help you look for your friend."

" and i'll help you look for yours."

" what does your friend look like ?" patrick asked.

" his name is josh and he has red hair." tyler said. " what about your friend ?"

" his name is pete and he has black hair." patrick said.

" okay. let's go then." tyler said.
