twenty - two

as patrick walked further and further down the street , he felt his eyes watering more and more. it was only a few minutes before he was in tears. (a/n: i hate myself for writing this. i hate thinking about patrick being sad or crying , unless they're tears of joy)

patrick sniffled and tried to dry his eyes but he kept on crying. he told pete that he didn't want to play but pete made him play anyways. his stomach felt queasy. he was uncomfortable. he just wanted to go home and go to sleep and hopefully wake up tomorrow only to realize this was all a dream.

he walked down the street for about fifteen minutes until he was finally at his house. since it was currently snowing , he was freezing. luckily for him it was very light.

he used his key to get into the house. he tried to be as quiet as could be because he didn't want to wake his parents. he tiptoed all the way to his room. he quickly changed into some sweats and an old tee shirt and plopped onto his bed.

he was exhausted and cold considering he had to walk home alone in the dark , while it was snowing for twenty minutes. after a few minutes he was passed out. his phone buzzed but he was fast asleep and couldn't hear it.

petewentz : where did you go

petewentz : ??

when patrick woke up the next day he checked his phone.

9 missed calls and 17 unread texts.

he looked at them and listened to the voicemails.

the texts were from andy , joe and pete.

he read andy's first.

hurleyxvx : what happened ?

hurleyxvx : i'm worried about you

hurleyxvx : text me back as soon as you get this please

patrick replied.

patrickstump : i'm fine. i went home early because i was really tired

then he read joe's messages.

jtrohman : where'd you go little buddy?

jtrohman : are you alright?

patrick replied.

patrickstump : i went home. i am fine

then he read pete's messages.

petewentz : i'm sorry for what happened last night

petewentz : i didn't mean to make you mad

petewentz : where are you?

then patrick replied.

patrickstump : i'm fine and i'm at home
