*Vic's POV*
"Kellin, where are you going?" We were cleaning the last office when he suddenly just walked out.

"We've been working here for a while, I think it's about damn time that I get to take a look at the library," he said as he kept on walking.

I ran and stood in front of him, placing my hands on his shoulders, "Kellin, wait, you know we can't go in there."

"Why not?" He whined, "I've been dying to go in there, like, have you seen how many books they have?!"

"They're probably business books, why would they have anything else?"

"Nick told me that they have all kinds of books for the workers that want to take a break or if they're feeling stressed. Don't we count as workers?"

"Well, yeah, but we can't just barge in there."

He gave me an annoyed look, holding up the tons of keys we had, "Are you forgetting the job we have or...?"

"Oh," one of the perks of being a janitor is that we had the key to every room in this building, except for the money safe of course.

We tiptoed into the library, "Woah, this place is amazing," he whispered as he looked around.

"It's just a library," I muttered, receiving a punch on my arm, "Ow! What was that for?"

"Have you ever read a book? Because apparently you haven't experienced the awesomeness of enjoying a good book to take you to another world."

"Alright, alright. Sheesh, no need to get all philosophical on me," I followed him around, "Why don't we come tomorrow during the day? You'll have more time to look for something you like."

"Alright, but we have to come here during the night too, I prefer the quietness," we walked out the library and locked the door, "No one will know we were here," he giggled.

I laughed, his giggles were contagious, "No one."

Like we agreed, the next day we were at the library and I watched him look for a book.

"This is so much fun, why don't you choose a book?" He smiled, sitting down on the floor once he picked out a book.

I sat across from him, "I guess you could say I'm not much of a reader, why don't you read something for me?"

"The book I chose is called Twilight. Ooh, spooky vampires!" He said in a funny tone.

"Oh no, I'm so scared," I rolled my eyes and decided to sit next to him and quietly read whatever he was reading.

It was nice being close to him, seeing him engulfed by a book. Whether he was silent or babbling about god knows what, I enjoyed every minute I had with him.

"Why in the world is this Edwin dude a sparkly vampire?"

"Don't question books, anything is possible in the literature world," he bumped himself to me, "And his name is Edward, not Edwin, you silly goose."

"Isn't it weird that he watches this Belle girl sleep?"

"It's Bella! And no, I would watch you sleep if I had the chance," he said, suddenly looking up at me with flustered cheeks, "I mean, not that I would, just hypothetically speaking."

"Uh huh, sure," I smirked.

"Sh-Shut up, let me read my book," he went back to reading his book, once again entering his own little world.

Surprisingly enough, I found myself engaged by this weird book. I feel like Kellin has the power to make me like anything, and that's scary.

"I think this is officially my favorite book. Yup, definitely," he closed the book and hugged it, "It has a little bit of everything I like, mostly this strange romance thing they have going on."

"It was alright," I shrugged, trying to seem nonchalant but I actually imagined most of the story with Kellin and I.

"We'll come back tonight to continue reading, there's three more books to it!" He said excitedly.

"A sequel, yay," I said sarcastically.

He poked me, "Don't judge me for liking books like these. Anyway, I have to go do something so I'll see you later on tonight."

"Want me to go with you?" I asked, hoping he said yes.

"It's okay, I'll be fine," he handed me the book as he kissed my cheek, leaving me wide-eyed and blushing the library.

~
That night I waited for him to come to work, but he never came back.
