Kellin and Vic have been bestfriends since middle school, following each other to highschool and then college. After graduating, they ended up getting a job in a company together... as janitors. They didn't mind as long as they were together but one...
*Vic's POV* As I arrived at the company building, I saw Kelly sitting cross legged in front of the door with her hands on her cheeks.
I parked nearby and walked towards her, receiving a sheepish smile, "Hey, Vic."
"Hey, Kelly, what are you doing out here? What happened?" She stood up and dusted off her jeans... she had a nice butt.
"Remember how we had the photoshoot this morning?" She asked.
"Uh, yeah," I laughed nervously, how could I forget?
"Well, I left my keys in your photoshoot room. I didn't know who to contact to open the doors but I remembered that you were the one who opened the doors for us so... yeah, I pretty much made you come here so that I could get my keys," she giggled.
"I don't mind," I chuckled as I took out my keys and unlocked the door, walking inside.
"I'm sorry if I interrupted you from anything or if you were already sleeping," she apologized.
If only she knew what she saved me from, "No, not at all! I was just watching tv."
We quietly walked to the elevator, the silence was killing me but she spoke, "I never really had the chance to thank you so... thank you- for giving me this opportunity I mean."
Seeing her so... shy was strange, she was so outgoing, "You don't need to thank me, it's your own talent that brought you here but are you okay? You seem kind of... down," I said as we reached the floor.
We walked toward my photoshoot room, "It gets pretty lonely at home, I live alone and I don't know anyone in the company besides you."
"Want to do something? I don't plan on going home any time soon," I handed her the keys that were hanging on the light stand.
"But what is there to do? It's already like eleven at night," she said glumly.
I suddenly remembered something Kellin enjoyed doing, "Come with me."
We found ourselves in the photocopy room, "What are we doing here?" She asked, I noticed she was holding in her laughter.
"My friend, Kellin, loved photocopying his face," I smushed my face on the photocopier and let it print my face.
She looked at the photocopy and burst into laughter, "I remember!"
"What?" I asked in confusion.
"I-I remember how I d-did that in my previous job," she said quickly.
We ended up photocopying our faces to the point where our stomachs couldn't take it anymore, "I'm going to piss myself," she laughed.
"Okay, okay," I wiped off my tears, "Let's do something more peaceful."
We decided to take the stairs to the library, the place Kellin loved to be in. As I watched her go up the stairs, her tight jeans formed her ass and I had to fight the urge to pin her again the wall. Calm down, Vic, I told myself.
I opened the door and we walked inside, "It's so beautiful," she said in awe, she said something else under her breath but I couldn't catch on to what she said.
I held her hand and guided her to where Kellin had taken me, "Kellin liked being here."
She looked at me with a sad expression, "What happened to your friend?"
I grabbed the book that he loved and sat down with a sigh, "He just... he just left."
She sat crossed legged beside me and grabbed the tattered book, I read that book so many times that I basically memorized it, "What makes you say that?"
"I-I don't know," I said, "We were all good that day and- and he just didn't come back. No goodbye or reason why, nothing," I felt a lump forming on my throat.
I still haven't gotten over it, the pain was still there. Sure, Jaime loved me but I didn't love him back. It's not that I didn't want to, I just couldn't. Sometimes I wished I could just choose who to love instead of going through all of this hassle but that's life.
She interrupted my thoughts when I felt her lean her head on my shoulder, "I think he had a good reason but couldn't tell you."
"We were bestfriends, he should've been able to tell me what was going on," I mumbled.
She started fiddling with her fingers, "What would you do if he came back?"
I haven't really thought of it, what would I do? I couldn't just leave Jaime... could I? I owed him so much.
"I, uh, I don't know. I never really thought of it honestly," I scratched the back of my neck, "He hasn't contacted me in years, I figured he didn't want to know anything about me."
She turned and cupped my cheek, looking into my eyes, "Never forget the ones who love you, you never know the motive of why they do what they do."
I looked down to her pretty pink lips and leant in to kiss them. They were as soft as I hoped they would be. I pulled back, her eyes were wide and her cheeks were flushed pink.
Goddamit, I just pulled a Jaime.
