he's out walking in the park, a different path this time. his own path.

there's a small smile on his face. he's just looking around at anything, everything, nothing in particular, and then he catches a glimpse of familiar platinum blonde hair.

it can't be her, he tells himself. what are the odds?

but the more he thinks about it, why couldn't it be her?

he stares at the back of her head, trying to determine if it is her or not. then she turns her head,

and oh god,

it's her.

she's at the park for the first time since them, and somehow, it feels right. 

settling herself onto one of the park benches, she picks up daisy and concentrates on trying to perfect max milner's 'all our lives.'

she feels a pair of eyes staring at her, and thinks none of it. but then the feeling doesn't leave.

it's not him, she tells herself. right?

oh, what the heck, she mutters. it's probably not. just turn around and see.

so she does,

and

she sees him,

looking at her.
