Two weeks had passed where the Elric brothers had continuously taken good care of DeAnna's sickness.  Then one sunny morning, she stretched from her bed and yawned.  Edward came to check up on her as he smiled, "You look nice and beautiful this morning!  How are you feeling, my butterfly princess?"  DeAnna smiled as she looked into his eyes with happy tears then she exclaimed, "I am all better and it's all thanks to both of you boys!  Thank you, Edward and Alphonse!"  Edward gave DeAnna a big hug then he told her, "I missed your smile and seeing you in good health so much.  Would you like me to wash your bedding and your clothes so you don't get sick again?"  DeAnna cheerfully shouted, "YES!  I mean, um, if it won't be any trouble for you."  Edward nodded so he and Alphonse got some rubber gloves on then they cleaned her linens carefully.  DeAnna ran to the backyard playfully then she saw her Carnations and the tree she grew were still healthy.  She thought to herself, "Hm....I wonder if the boys watered these for me while I was in bed?"  Then she sat under the tree and an apple fell then it landed on her head.  "Ow!" she cried.  Then she smiled because her tree was bearing fruit.  So she bit into the juicy apple for a healthy snack.  Edward went to check up on her as he commented, "Those apples look delicious!  Can I please have one?"  DeAnna nodded then she cheerfully replied, "Sure!"

So she hovered upwards by flapping her butterfly wings and she grabbed a big juicy red apple for her boyfriend.  She then handed it to him and he thanked her for sharing.  They both ate their fruity snack and Edward asked, "Since you are my girlfriend now, do you have any future plans while you are with me?  I want for you to say your share first just so I know what is on my butterfly princess's mind."  DeAnna blushed then she looked downwards as she tried to think about it.  Edward corrected her by saying, "Uh, oh!  You're not looking at me, are you?  I'm up here and right beside you, sweetie."

DeAnna looked into his eyes then Edward commented, "That's better.  Now, what is your heart set on while we are together as one?"  DeAnna answered, "Someday, I would like to have children with you.  Except my only concern is what they will look like.  Will they be butterflies?  Humans?  A mix of both?  Or Homunculus?"  Edward asked, "Can I put my arm around your shoulder and tell you something?"  DeAnna replied, "Mhm."  Edward continued, "No matter what they look like or who's genes are more dominant, they will be beautiful because they will be our children."  DeAnna kissed Edward's cheek and she thanked him for being honest.  Then she commented, "I am not ready for mating yet, though.  I want to give it some time and if we should ever get married then I will be happy to carry your baby."  Edward smiled then he told her, "We will see.  But you know what?"  DeAnna asked, "What?"  Then Edward praised, "You are an awesome girlfriend, regardless of your struggles!   I just want you to know that.  Now let's get inside and see what Alphonse is up to, ok?"  DeAnna nodded then she shouted, "Yeah!"  So she skipped playfully to the back door and Edward held it open for her like a true gentleman so DeAnna thanked him.
