As DeAnna got home from her date with Edward, she couldn't wait to train Zoe.  But first, she saw her young chimera panting as she whimpered.  "Do you want some water?", DeAnna asked Zoe.  Then she immediately filled the saucer with some cold water.  Afterwards, DeAnna slowly slipped the harness and leash on as she exclaimed, "I am going to take Zoe for a walk!"  The Elric brothers wished her good luck then DeAnna was on her way with Zoe even though they didn't go very far down the dirt road.  DeAnna noticed that Zoe was very playful and she was enjoying her first walk with her owner.    Then Zoe sniffed the ground and pooped so DeAnna picked it up with a plastic bag then she disposed of it in a public trash can.  "Good girl, Zoe!", DeAnna praised.

Then after about a half hour, DeAnna came back home safely with Zoe.  "How did it go?", Edward asked.  DeAnna answered while giving her boyfriend good eye contact, "It went great!  Part of me thinks that Zoe still remembers her training despite her rebirth, but now she doesn't have automail to deal with."  Alphonse commented, "It could be her automail had aged too much so Zoe was unable to move much when she died so this rebirth could be a gift from Truth in disguise."  Then Edward complimented, "Good eye contact, DeAnna!  That's what I like to see!"  DeAnna blushed as she thanked her boyfriend.

Alphonse told DeAnna, "You're home just in time.  I am trying to make stew since I got the recipe from Winry so I hope it turns out ok."  DeAnna shouted cheerfully, "Yummy!  I love stew!" Edward commented, "That makes three of us."  So DeAnna and Edward had a discussion together about what the plans were for the next day.  DeAnna asked, "Can we go back to the park together and bring Zoe with us?"  Edward replied, "Of course!"  So several minutes later, the stew was done being cooked. Edward commented, "Remember your manners with eating your stew, DeAnna.  It's just like eating soup."  DeAnna nodded as she demonstrated good table manners so Edward smiled as he noticed his girlfriend's good etiquette.   After lunch, DeAnna took a nap and Zoe curled up at the foot of her bed.    "Sweet dreams, my butterfly princess.", Edward whispered.

Another day had dawned so DeAnna woke up early once again because she couldn't wait for her 3rd date with her boyfriend.  Then she saw Edward drinking a mug of hot cocoa and he asked if she wanted a mug of her own so she nodded.  Zoe whimpered until she caught her owner's attention so DeAnna gave her some food and a saucer full of water.  Alphonse prepared a ham and cheese omelet with mushrooms for DeAnna, Edward, and himself.  Then Edward smiled as he noticed DeAnna's good table manners.  "Good job!", Edward praised.  "Huh?", DeAnna questioned. Then Edward explained that he was complimenting her table manners.  After their breakfast was finished, Edward explained that he wanted to train DeAnna at the park a bit more except this would be a fun lesson.

DeAnna was curious and kept wondering what her boyfriend was up to.  This made her ponder all the way through her morning shower and getting dressed.  Then once DeAnna was ready to go, Edward held her hand and Zoe walked beside her as they headed to the park.  Once they approached, Edward had something in mind.  "I saw you escape the bullies during your battle many days ago, but I am going to pretend to be one of those captors and see if you have what it takes to escape me.  Does that sound ok, DeAnna?"  She scratched her head then she agreed.

So Edward went to his hiding spot  while DeAnna wasn't looking so she was unaware of who might be hunting for her.  DeAnna wandered around then she was approaching a tall bush.  Then she heard a clapping noise and then a large net had wrapped around her body, but DeAnna responded by clapping her hands to create a blade that slashed the net in half.  As DeAnna flew to safety, she heard Edward starting to act sad.  "There she goes!  I only wanted that butterfly princess for myself so I could feed her lots of honey and nectar while offering her lots of hospitality.", Edward had pretended to cry.  DeAnna looked back at Edward below then she frowned as she thought, "Perhaps my actions were a bit too far?"  So she hovered down to check up on him.  "Uh, Edward?", she asked in a worried voice.  "Butterfly princess! You came back for me!", Edward cried happily as he wrapped his arms around her.  Then Edward commented, "That was a good try, but I tricked you, DeAnna!"

Rather than thinking of the possible consequences, she kissed Edward's cheek.  DeAnna's training had ended in failure so she decided to play fetch with Zoe since there was a large stick on the ground.    Edward joined along then after awhile, they all walked together.  "Hey!  Let's get ice cream together!", DeAnna exclaimed.  Edward agreed so they saw an ice cream stand on their way home.    DeAnna got honey-flavored ice cream and Edward had strawberry ice cream which was a delicious treat.  After they finished their frozen treats, they approached home.  "Thank you for such a good time today, my mighty protector.", DeAnna said as she looked into her boyfriend's eyes.  Edward patted her head then he commented, "You are such a wonderful girlfriend and thank you for the good eye contact!"  Then he let DeAnna and Zoe go indoors first, but Edward soon followed.
