Another day had passed and DeAnna was so excited about her 2nd official date with Edward. So she stretched and got out of bed before her boyfriend could wake her up, but Edward saw her exit her bedroom just the same. Edward commented, "Look who's out of bed early! Good morning, my butterfly princess!" She blushed then she greeted back, "Good morning to you too, my mighty protector." Alphonse had just removed some blueberry muffins from the oven. DeAnna sniffed the aroma and commented, "Those smell yummy! May I please have one?" Alphonse insisted, "Go ahead and help yourself, but they are still warm." DeAnna couldn't wait to grab a blueberry muffin then Alphonse poured some iced tea into her glass. "Here you go!", Alphonse said generously. DeAnna thanked him then she ate her breakfast. Zoe whimpered a brief moment until DeAnna exclaimed, "Oh! You're hungry too, eh? Let me get you some food and water." So she fed Zoe and returned back to her breakfast.
When she finished her breakfast, she got out another clean outfit then she took a hot shower. "I am going to do my best for Edward.", she thought to herself as she got cleaned up. After she had gotten cleaned up and dressed into her outfit, she tended to her good hygiene routines. As she exited the restroom, Edward smiled and complimented, "You look beautiful. Would you like to get Zoe to do her business then we can go to the pet supply store?" DeAnna nodded then she took her young chimera outdoors to go potty which was successful. Then she didn't struggle to get in her carrier so Edward and DeAnna headed to the pet supply store.
As they arrived, Edward and DeAnna looked at harnesses. DeAnna got Zoe out of her carrier to have her try a purple harness on and it was a perfect fit! So they went to look at getting a matching leash and they found one just Zoe's size. "Do you want to see about getting her a box of chimera treats or puppy treats?", Edward inquired. DeAnna agreed so they saw a bunch of varieties. "This one looks healthy!", DeAnna claimed as she picked up a box of chimera treats. So she added it to her cart. Lastly, they went to look at puppy toys. "Do you like this squeaky chew toy, Zoe?", her owner asked. Zoe barked so DeAnna also added the squeaky chew toy. She also got a few tennis balls to teach Zoe how to retrieve things.
Afterwards, they got everything rung up. The cashier asked, "Is that a young chimera pup?" DeAnna replied, "Yes, sir." Then the cashier complimented, "Such a beautiful young one. It looks more like a hybrid, but it will be big and very smart with extra training." DeAnna thanked the cashier with perfect eye contact as the items were paid for. Edward smiled because his girlfriend's social skills had vastly improved.
They left the store then Edward complimented, "You were awesome in there with your social skills, DeAnna! Your training is really paying off!" She giggled as she blushed then she thanked Edward. As they approached the back porch, DeAnna kissed Edward's cheek then she said, "Thank you for such a fun date, my mighty protector." Edward blushed and said, "You're welcome." Then he held the door open for her and they went indoors with young Zoe.
