I am super curious as to what he is going to think about the gift and invitation. I want to see his reaction with my own eyes.
Luckily, the couch is lower that the window so, I hid behind the couch with my eyes just barely above the window sill.
Just as he walked in his room, I felt my heart start beating faster.
What if he hates it? He might even have a boyfriend! I don't even know if he's gay or not!
I tried to put those thoughts aside as I watched him feed his dog.
He didn't seem to notice the gift yet.
As soon as his dog finished eating he got up and that's when he saw it.
He walked over to his couch and sat down.
I could see him untying the card from the bear. He started reading it and immediately afterwards, I could tell he was blushing.
He brought the teddy bear to his face. He must have smelled the cologne.
I decided to stop watching after that, since I've already seen him open the gift.
I felt so accomplished that I had finally asked him over.
Now that I have done what I have been waiting to do, I can relax until tomorrow.
I went downstairs to see if I needed any ingredients for tomorrow's dinner.
I still need to get some kale, spinach, and the noodles for the lasagna.
I have plenty of time, so I guess I'll go to Whole Foods.
I got the kale, spinach, and lasagna noodles. I also decided to get a bottle of wine because, why not?
When I got home, I put all of the groceries away and prepared to take a nap.
I went into my room and was about to plop down on the bed, right when I noticed something on my couch.
I hopped onto the couch to see what it was.
It was an origami swan on.
I unfolded the swan and it read:
~I loved your poem,
as much as your face.
~Of course I'll join you,
for dinner at your place.
I looked through the window and there was something taped to his window.
It was a heart.
Similar to the one I drew and taped to my window.
I couldn't help, but smile and blush at his response.
I took a nap and fell asleep with happy thoughts about what could happen
Tomorrow.
