Chapter 12~ His Lottery

•First Person POV•

D: Don't be. You're super cute.

J: What did he just say?! Did he just say that I'm cute?! Why is he staring at me? What am I supposed to say?

D: Was that too sudden? Is it too soon? I don't want to scare him away. He's blushing profusely. Is that a good sign?

D: Are you okay?

J: W-what? Me? Yeah I'm fine.

D: You seem a little flustered.

J: I'm sorry. I'm just so nervous.

D: Why?

J: Because...

J: Why is it so hard just to tell him that I'm madly in love with him?!

D: Because what...

J: Because I think I like you!

D: You think? What do you mean?

J: No, actually I'm positive. I like you a lot! I can't even function around you because I'm too nervous. That's why I seem so flustered, because I'm sitting right next to you.

J: Whoa! That just came out of nowhere.

D: You shouldn't be so nervous because I like you too. A lot.

J: Wait. What?

J: You do?

D: Yes. Ever since I first saw you though the window when I moved in. You're adorable and I can't help but stare at you and admire you.

J: I can feel my cheeks heating up. All I can manage to do around him is blush.

D: Just like I said, I can't help but stare at him. He's honestly so gorgeous and so beautiful. I don't know what else to say except...

D: Joseph, will you be my boyfriend ?

J: Holy shit! No way! He did not just say that! Fuck yeah I will!

J: Of course!!!

•Third Person POV•

Daniel leans over and captures Joey in the tightest hug humanly possible.

D: I feel like the luckiest man on earth right now.

Joey hugs back and rests his head in Daniel's shoulder.

J: I feel even luckier.

They stay there for a good minute or two just embracing each others warmth and touch.

D: It's getting late. Do you want me to walk you home?

J: Yes, please.

Joey grabbed his belongings and headed out with Daniel by his side. They walked back to Joey's house in an easing comfortable silence. Daniel grabbed Joey's hand and intertwined their fingers together. They looked at each other and blushed, both looking away immediately afterwards.

They reached Joey's doorstep and both boys turned to look at each other.

J: Thanks for dinner. I had fun tonight.

D: Anytime. I would love to take you on a real date though.

J: I'll look forward to that.

Joey turns around and unlocks the door.

J: I'll see you tomorrow.

Daniel pulls Joey into his chest and wraps his arms around his back.

D: Sweet dreams.

J: You too.

Joey heads inside and Daniel walks back to his own house.

J: Wow! I can't believe that just happened.

D: Wow! I can't believe that just happened.

Joey goes upstairs, brushes his teeth, takes a shower, and gets ready for bed.

When he returns to his room he looks out of his window and sees a piece of paper taped to Daniel's window.

It read: "Goodnight, Gorgeous"

Joey smiles and grabbed a piece of paper.

"Goodnight, Handsome"

He taped it on his window and went to bed feeling like he had just won the lottery.

Daniel was
his lottery.

A/N~ Omfg, finally chapter 12. I'm sorry to keep u guys waiting for so long. It's almost been a month 😱. Jeez, time flies by. The past month has been super hectic. Lots of school and family priorities. Btw, yes. I am aware that everybody wanted a long ass chapter. At least that's what most ppl voted for.
