Chapter 11~ Super Cute

•Joey's POV•

It is 5:00 and I am getting ready to head over to Daniel's house for dinner.

I put the dining set in a gift bag. I hope he likes the gift. He just moved in, so I thought this gift would be the most appropriate.

I put my shoes on and checked myself out in the mirror. I grabbed my keys and checked the time.

It was 6:00.

I headed out and walked right across the lawn to Daniel's house.

I reached his door and took a deep breath. My heart felt like it was going to jump right out of my chest.

I pushed the doorbell.

•Daniel's POV•

I heard the doorbell.

I took off my apron, checked myself in the mirror, fixed my hair, and ran to the door.

I can hardly breathe with how nervous I am right now.

I opened the door as gracefully as I could.

D: Damn, he looks good!

J: Hi, thanks for inviting me over for dinner.

D: No problem. It's so nice to see you again. Please, come in.

J: Wow, he is so gentlemen-like.

J: I love your house.

D: Thank you!

J: Didn't you just move in?

D: Yup

J: You are really good at decorating. I love the decor.

D: Yes! He likes my house!

D: Thanks! You must be hungry. Let's talk over dinner.

J: It smells really good in here. You must be a great chef.

D: Not really, but I love to cook. I made lasagna, kale salad, and spinach soup.

J: It looks great!

D: Enjoy!

D: I really hope he thinks it tastes as good as it looks.

J: Wow, it's delicious! You're really good at cooking!

D: Aww thank you!

D: Oh my god! He is so nice and adorable! I can't help, but stare at him with heart-eyes.

~After Dinner~

D: Do you want to watch a movie?

J: Sure!

D: What movie do u want to watch? Your choice.

J: Umm...I don't know.

D: Ok...I don't know either. How about we watch YouTube instead?

J: Yes!!!

J: Wow he knows me so well.

D: Aren't you a YouTuber or something?

J: What?! How did you know?

D: Well, the other day, when we were sitting on the bench, you mentioned something about uploading a video.

J: Oh...yeah.

J: He has good memory...

D: Oh, maybe I should watch your videos some time.

J: No! Please don't!

J: I mean, if you want to.

D: So, anything specific you want to watch?

J: No, you pick.

D: Fine. Let's watch one of your videos.

J: Fuck.

J: Oh...ok....

D: How about this one?

J: Oh god...did he have to pick a video with Miranda in it? This is going to be embarrassing.

•3rd Person POV•

As soon as the video started, Daniel looked super excited to watch one of Joey's videos for the first time, but Joey immediately curled up into a cute little ball and his his face in his lap.

Daniel was enjoying the video. He thought it was the funniest thing he had ever seen and loved how Joey and Miranda got along in the video.

Right after the video ended, Daniel looked over at Joey and gave him a huge hug.

D: Aww, that was so cute. Are you embarrassed?

J: Oh my god! He is touching me!

J: A little bit.

D: Don't be. You're
super cute.
