Chapter 14~ First Date

•Joey's POV•

I went back inside feeling butterflies in my stomach.

I cannot believe Daniel is actually taking me on a date!

I took a quick shower and changed into a cute floral button-up with a pair of black skinny jeans and rolled up the ankles. I sprayed on a little bit of cologne and fixed my hair. Last, but not least, I put on my rainbow titanium quartz necklace.

Perfect.

I hope Daniel likes my outfit as much as I do. It's pretty much my go-to look.

•Daniel's POV•

Wow!

Joey actually said yes?

I can't believe it! I actually get to take Joey on a date!

I took a quick shower and got dressed.

I wore a navy blue button up with a pair of jeans and and a crystal bracelet I bought the other day.

~6:00 pm.~

I called Joey:

J: Joey

J: Hello?

D: Hey cutie.

J: Hey Danny!

D: So, are you ready for our date?

J: Of course!

D: I'll come pick you up.

J: Great! I'll be waiting.

D: See you in a bit!

J: Bye.

•Daniel's POV•

I hung up and took a quick glance in the mirror before grabbing my wallet, phone, and car keys.

I rushed to Joey's house and knocked on the door.

J: Finally!

J: Yay! You're finally here!

D: I can't wait to take you on our first date!

Daniel led Joey to his car and opened the passenger side door.

J: What a gentlemen.

J: Thank you.

D: It's my pleasure.

J: His mom raised him well.

Daniel got in the drivers seat and started to driving to the restaurant.

-10 minutes later-

D: We're here!

J: Wow, this looks like a nice restaurant.

D: It's vegan too.

J: He knows me so well.

We sat down and the waiter brought u our menus.

J: I think I'll just get a veggie burger.

D: I'll have the same.

W: Would you like anything to drink?

J: May I have a green juice.

W: Sure, anything for you sir?

D: Just water please.

W: Ok, so 2 veggie burgers, a green juice, and water?

D: Yes.

W: Coming right up.

~5 minutes later~

D: Thank you!

W: Enjoy!

J: I need to Instagram this!

D: Let me take a picture for you.

J: Ok.

D: Smile!

Daniel takes the picture.

D: You're so cute!

Daniel hands Joey his phone back.

J: Aww! I love it! Thanks!

D: No problem.

As Daniel handed Joey his phone back, Joey noticed the bracelet Daniel was wearing.

J: Are you wearing a crystal bracelet?

D: Oh yeah! I got it the other day from a little crystal shop.

J: No way!

Joey pulls out his necklace that has been hiding under his shirt.

J: You like crystals too?

D: Yeah! Of course!

Daniel and Joey spent the rest of their dinner talking about their love for crystals.

J: I think I just fell in love. Still can't believe Daniel and I are finally having our
first date.
