Chapter 13~ This Way

•Joey's POV•

I woke up feeling the happiest I've felt in a long time.

With family issues and things going on between my mom and dad, I haven't been the happiest person.

Daniel. He makes me so happy, beyond belief. He makes me feel less worried about the problems I have to deal with.

He's the best thing thatched ever happened to me.

I looked at the clock and realized that it has been 10 minutes since I woke up. I guess I've just been sitting here thinking for 10 minutes straight.

Eventually, I got my lazy ass up and went to brush my teeth.

By the time I finished, I walked back into my room and there was already another piece of paper taped to his window.

How is his timing so perfect?

"Good Morning Gorgeous"

This is what I love about him. He can always put a smile on my face.

Like always, I got out a pen and a piece of paper.

"Good morning handsome"

I couldn't stop thinking about what he said the other night:

"I would love to take you on a real date though."

I'm so looking forward to that!

I wonder where he'll take me.

I just can't stop thinking about him.

Wolfie jumped on me and woke me up from my dream.

I guess I kind of needed that.

I went downstairs and got Wolfie's bowl, filled it with some food, and brought it back upstairs.

This is why I love Wolfie. He takes my mind off of things when I need it most.

I just cuddled and pet Wolf until he finished his food.

When Wolf finally finished his food, I decided to take him out for a walk. It felt nice to spend some extra quality time with Wolf, especially when I needed him most.

I walked around the neighborhood with Wolfie for about an hour.

When we got back to my house, I sat on the bench in in front of my house with Wolf on my lap.

Almost immediately, all of the memories came flooding back into my head.

Memories of when Daniel and I actually talked for the first time.

•Daniel's POV•

I woke up today feeling like a new person. It's crazy how different Joey makes me feel.

I did my usual morning routine and went downstairs to prepare breakfast.

I made some scrambled eggs, pancakes, and a fruit salad.

After I ate, I decided to do some exercise.

Gotta keep in shape and build some more muscle.

After exercising for about an hour, I decided to go on a quick jog around the block.

I put my running shoes on and started jogging down the block.

It felt good to get some fresh air.

It took me about half an hour to get back to my house.

On my way back, I noticed Joey sitting on the bench mind don't of his house again.

He was petting wolf on his lap and just looked so adorable.

Just seeing Joey sitting on that bench brought back the memories of when I first talked to him.

I quickly went back inside to change into some decent clothes and came back outside to so with Joey.

He didn't see me come outside so I decided to surprise him.

I snuck up behind the bench and covered his eyes with both hands.

D: Guess who?

J: Hmm...Daniel?

Daniel uncovered his hands and kissed Joey's cheek.

D: Yup! I missed you.

J: Omg he just kissed me on the cheek!

J: I missed you too!

Daniel sat down and pulled Joey's head into his chest.

D: So, you wanna go on a date tonight?

J: Of course!

J: I've been waiting forever for him to ask that!

D: Great!

Daniel held Joey in his arms.

D: Well, I need to go home and shower. I'll see you later cutie.

J: Ok, see you later.

Daniel gave Joey a quick peck on the cheeks before returning inside to shower.

J: No one has ever made me feel
this way.

Took me a while to get it up, but I swear it's not from laziness or anything. I've been desperately trying to update, but I just dont have the time rn, but I love u all.
