I'm so fricken annoyed with that leech of a mate. Who does he think he is? He doesn't own me,not yet anyway and you know what I'm fed up with this rubbish.

" I'm going out for a run,you go get yourself fixed up and ill see you when you get back." I smiled,reassuringly and he just nodded.

I got to the tree's by the Lake I've always loved. I shifted and jumped belly-first into the water,it was so refreshing until I heard a twig snap... My wolf seem to purr... I scented the air to know it was a stranger so I figured the best thing to do in these situations...

"Hello? Come out now or I'll find you and I will kill you" hoping to scare whoever it was off,I knew it wouldn't work but it was at least a shot right?

"Err.. Hello... I'm Ch-Chase"he had brown,wavy hair and deep blue eyes. He is gorgeous! You can even see his six-pack right through his T-shirt... my wolf purred and then started screaming....

"MATE!!!"I look at him with a smile,deep down I felt the connection but I felt something else... Was it Love?

"Hi,I'm Kayla Webster it's great to meet you" I had a huge grin on my face,in fact it was so big my cheeks started to hurt and I couldn't help it.

" I'm Chase Whittmore and its great to know I've found my mate" he also had a huge grin,he jumped and shifted into the water and I was stunned,by what I had seen... His wolves Silver!

I heard my name being called through the link...

-Kayla where are you? Your brother is going insane so we need you back here- It was my Beta,Josh.

- Alright on my way and I need to speak to you urgently!- and then I closed off the link then I got sad and looked at my second-chance mate, he saw the look on my face but didn't speak...

"Look I've got to go back I'm sorry but what's your pack called? So maybe we can meet again sometime"

"It's The Crescent Moon Pack but what do you mean 'meet again' sometime,do you not like me,are you going to reject me-" I was shocked but let him speak no further.

"No it's not that,it's just... Your my second-chance mate and-" this time HE cut me off.

"SECOND-CHANCE? But how! You must of rejected your mate"

I saw a look in his eyes,sadness,lust but quite clearly love.

"No I didn't he rejected me 4 years ago but now we are back together and we just had a little argument and now I don't know what to do anymore!" I cried,when I looked up to see him,I realised I fell onto my knees.

"Shh it's okay, don't worry I will talk to you soon but for now just keep in the mind-link"

"But I'm not in your pack I can't mind-link you?"

"It's all part of a secret we Silver Wolves keep" he winked and carried on...

"Well you've got to go, I won't keep you waiting but if you need me,link me" he kissed my forehead and disappeared in a second...

10 minutes later...

I slowly walked up to the Guest House door to open it and find an angry looking crowd... Oh Goddess what have I done now?

"You are late! We were worried sick!" Jake ran up to me,pulling me into a death-hug

" I.. I was just at the Lake,I've missed it that much " I laughed whilst faking it. I mentally rolled my eyes.

-what was it you wish to speak about my lady?- that stunned me,it was Josh

-please don't say anything but I found my second mate- Josh looked as stunned as I was when I first found out I had another mate!
