Chapter 6

Josh's POV

That night i went down to the Enmore to look for Hayley at this Cute Is What We Aim For show, lucky i like this band too.

I walked through the doors of the venue and made my way through the crowd until i spotted her bight red hair from a distance, i mean shes not that hard to find with that hair.

I smiled at the sight of her moshing around and getting right into the band on the stage, so i stayed back a bit and kept watching her.

I turned around and walked to the bar.

"ahh Sophie i haven't seen you here in ages" i said to the girl behind the bar

"yeah same goes with you" she said with a smirk

"get me a shot thanks" i said to her

"sure" she said and pured me out a shot and i drank it down.

I felt the presents of someone next to me and i looked and there stood Hayley

Hayley's POV

i stoped moshing and went to the bar for water.

"can i get a water please" i said to the girl behind the bar and she handed me a bottle of water.

I was about to turn back to the mosh but then i saw Josh sitting there at the bar, i rolled my eyes and walked over to him

"if your planning on asking me out again, you may as well get it over with now" i said

"do you mind, your kind of ruining this for me" he said taking a sip of another drink he ordered.

"whay arent you surrounded by smoke as you usually are?"

"i quit, apparently its bad for you" he said

"oh you think" i said 

"you know this band is pretty good" he said and got up from his seat and walked off into the crowd and i followed him.

Josh stopped and turned around "come to the party friday night with me" he asked

"you never give up to do you?" i said

'Nope!" he said

"anyway no i dont want to go" i said and walked way deeper into the crowd

"I'll see you at 9:30 than!" i heard him yell out to me and i just shook my head.

The next night was friday, the night of the party Josh apparently wants to take me to. i sat on my bed and watch Erica and her friend walk passed my door all dressed up, even though she will probably get caught trying to sneak passed mum who was down in the lounge room. I decided to fall after them down the stairs and as i guess they got caught.

"Erica what have i told you? you cant go out unless Hayley is going" mum said

"oh my god Hayley why cant you be normal for one night and come to the party" Erica said to me

"cause i dont want to because its just an excuse for everyone at school to get totally wasted and have sex with each other" i said

"can you PLEASE just come Hayley.... for me?" Erica begged me again

"ugh fine i will make an appreance" i said

"ok then well no drugs, no alcohol and you know the rest" mum said to us

"we know and we are going now" i said

i walked to the front door and pulled it open to come face to face with Josh who was about to knock.

"what are you doing here?" i asked him

"well its 9:30 and im picking you up and taking you to a party" he said with a smile

"whatever im driving us there" i said and walked passed him to my car and he followed after me.
