Chapter 13

Hayley's POV

Tonight was the night i was going to prom, i put on a short little black dress that had a big bow at the back with a pair of simple looking black heels to go with it and my bright red hair was pulled back into a pony tail.

"im off to the prom now mum" i yelled out as i was about to open the front door.

"have a good time hon" she yelled back from the kitchen

Erica quickly follow me to the car were Kellin was waiting, we got in the car and started the drive to the school where the prom was being held.

"thats for doing this Hayles it means a lot" Erica said and smiled, i rolled my eyes.

Once we parked the car we all baled out and headed over to the school hall, where people all dress formally made there way.

The hall was decorated with balloons and streamers, you could easily mistaken it for a massive birthday party. There was a band up on the stage playing pop punk and rock music while people danced and made out with there dates. Food and drinks were on tables around the outside of the dance floor.

I walked up the stairs to get up on the top balcony of the school hall to look out over the crowd but once i got to the top of the stairs, there was Josh standing there looking at me like a deer in headlights.

"wow Hayles you look amazing" Josh said

"you too" i said and looked him up and down

"so where did you get that suit at the last minute?" i asked

"oh it was just something i had lying around... well my mum found it" he said and smiled

"so where did you get that dress?" he asked back

"oh you know something i had lying around" i said and laughed and then stopped and turned to him with a serious look on my face

"look Josh im sorry i questioned about you the other day..... it was wrong" i said

"i forgive you" Josh said

"ok well lets get down into the prom" i said and josh linked his arm around mine and guided me back down the stairs and into the crowd.

I smiled at Erica who was dancing with Kellin and making out, i was happy for her being with him, i mean its better than Travis after all!

Soon a song started that i knew and i looked up at the stage and there was my favorite band i saw only a few weeks ago Cute Is What We Aim For. I started to scream

"OH MY GOD JOSH LOOK!" i said to him

"yeah i know.... i called in a few favors" he said and winked at me

"your the best" i said and hugged him and josh leaned in and kissed me

Erica's POV

After dancing with Kellin i walked to the bathroom to fix myself up, i looked into the mirror and soon my firend Tiffany showed up.

"dont think your the only one in our grade at the prom" she said with a smirk

"Travis just picked me up"

"well thats nice, hes all yours" i said fixing my dress

"the only reason he wanted you was because he was going to nail you tonight cause he had a bet going with his friends..." she said i looked at her and turned and ran out of the bathroom away from her.
