Melissa's POV

*Two Days Later*

I've avoided Niall for the past two days. No, I didn't become a shut in. Louis, Harry and Zayn took me to see all of the sights here. Liam went back to ignoring me again, which I hate. But I'll deal with it. Today is the day of the very important interview. I have no idea how Niall and I are supposed to act like we're in love if we aren't even on speaking terms. We're going to have to work soon because we leave in around two hours. I guess since Niall won't make the first move, I'll have to. Women always have to the hard work!

I get off my bed and walk to Niall's room. When I get there I knock on the door.

"What?" Niall mumbles.

"Can I come in?" I ask.

"Depends on who it is." He grunts.

"There's only one girl in the house, Niall. Who the heck do you think it is?" I question.

"I don't know, you could've been Lou, one of the boys girlfriends or maybe someone from management." Niall answers. I guess that makes sense.

"Well I'm not any of those people, I'm Melissa." I tell him.

"I got that now." Niall says.

"Okay. Can you let me in then?" I ask again.

"Why do you want in?" Niall asks.

"Because I need to talk to you." I say, getting a little angry.

'What do you need to talk to me about?" Niall questions.

"Niall, unless you want me to knock this door down and have everyone find out our engagement is a scam, I suggest you open this door!" I yell.

I hear footsteps and then the door opens. "I just seeing how easily you get angry, which is very." Niall says smugly. He did not just do that!

"Jackass." I mutter as I walk into his room. I go and sit on his bed with my legs criss-crossed.

"So, really, what do you want to talk about?" He asks seriously this time.

"The interview." I answer.

"Oh, that." He sighs.

"Yeah, that." I say, mimicking Niall.

"I don't really know what we're supposed to do with the interview." He tells me. He's never any help, is he?

"Well, we need to come up with answers to some of their questions. Like when we met, when we started dating, why we didn't tell anyone we were dating, etc." I say, giving some examples.

"Alright. We could say we met at a concert, started dating six months ago and we didn't tell anyone because you didn't want to be in the spotlight." Niall suggests.

"Hmm. Lets say we knew each other when we were younger, but lost touch once you left for the X-Factor, and we ran into each other when you visited home last year and we hit it off. We could say that we got engaged last month and that's why we haven't said anything until now." I say.

"What about why you don't speak like you're from Ireland?" Niall questions.

"Do you seriously think they're going to ask that, or do you just want to know for yourself?" I ask.

"Both." He says.

"That's what I thought. Anyways, it's quite simple. I moved to Ireland from the States when I was eight because my parents wanted me to grow up without people hounding me everywhere I go." I explain.
