Melissa's POV
When we got home I quickly went to my room and called Niall's cell phone. I really didn't care if I was going to be charged for international calling or not.
The phone rings for thirty seconds or so and then Niall answers saying, "Hello?"
"You aren't even in South America anymore, are you?" I blurt out.
"Mel?" Niall asks, sounding surprised.
"There's a thing called caller ID, and if you don't have me saved in your contacts I will shoot you." I say to him, getting frustrated.
"I do have you in my contacts, Melissa, so calm down." Niall huffs.
"Why didn't you tell me that you were going to be in Dublin this weekend?"
"Who told you that I'd be in Dublin?"
"I heard it at dinner. Now tell me the truth; are you going to be in Dublin this weekend?"
I hear Niall sigh and then say, "Yes, I'm going to be in Dublin this weekend. I'll be there friday afternoon. We have our last few concerts of the UK leg of the tour."
"Thank you for being honest," I say to him. "But why didn't you tell me you've been in the UK for this long? I could've visited you."
"I wanted to surprise you."
"I would've been pissed, Niall, not surprised. I probably would've slapped you, like I wanted to when I found at earlier." I tell him, making him laugh some.
"I'm sorry, babe. I just have this whole thing planned and I messed up." Even though I can't see him I know he's pouting.
"You told me the truth, which fixed what you did. You can surprise me with something else this weekend."
"You can bet on it." Niall says, cheering up. "I've got to go, but I'll see you this weekend."
"Alright, see you this weekend." I smile like crazy.
"Bye, love."
"Bye, Ni." I say, then he hangs up. The weekend came quicker than I expected.
I got a text from Niall early this morning telling me to be ready by ten. I told him I would be, then proceeded to freak out. I was going to see my boyfriend for the first time in over three weeks. Although we had started dating a few days before he left, I still liked him a lot and missed him even more.
I've tried to stay calm between now and then, but my mother has told me that I'm not doing a very good job. The closer it gets to ten, the more excited and nervous I get. And I'm probably a mess right now since it's five minutes until ten. I've been pacing around the kitchen for the last ten minutes, but I can't help it.
I hear a knock on the door and I run right to it. I open the door and scream. Right there, standing at my front door, is Jeniah and James. My smile turns into a frown and I say, "You did that on purpose."
"I couldn't resist!" Jeniah laughs.
"What are you two doing together anyways?" I ask as we walk inside. I know what they're doing together, but I just want them to admit it.
"We're were just hanging out." James shrugs his shoulders, plopping down onto one of the chairs at the island in the kitchen.
"Why were you guys hanging out so early in the morning?" I raise my eyebrows, knowing that he's lying.
"We watched a movie at his place and we fell asleep. No big deal." Jeniah tells me, sitting on the opposite side of the island. I decide to leave them be for now. And it's a good thing too, because the doorbell rings not even a minute later.
