It's been a week since I made my new friend. Everyday went the same. My parents told me to get a life, I said no. I go and hang out with Jeniah and her other friends. I come home and listen to One Direction, then go to sleep. I'm sure you're thinking I'm obsessed, but I'm not. Their music just calms me and makes me feel like a normal person for a while. "Yello? Earth to smartical sister." James waved his hand in front of my face, interrupting my thoughts.

"I'm still here. I was just thinking." I said while getting James' hand out of my face.

"What were you thinking about?" He asked curiously.

"About being normal." I answered plainly.

"Oh. You know, just because you're smart doesn't mean you aren't normal. And quite a few people graduate early. You're just and A.N.T."

"Thanks. But why'd ya call me an ant?"

"Not the bug. Advanced Natural Talent, like the kids on Ant Farm."

"Oh, thanks! At least someone thinks I'm normal." Life would be better if I was normal. I'd be in school, I'd have friends and I could live a normal life. Maybe when I grow old and settle down I'll become normal. I hope.

"We're home!" I heard my parents yell.

"Hi mom and Dad. How was work?" I asked my parents when they got into the living room.

"Same as always," My dad replied.

"Well, for me it was great! On my lunch break I ran into a really nice lady. And now I have a new friend. She's even got two handsome sons!" My mom said happily. Great. She's gonna try and set me up with one of them. I just know it.

"What's her name?"

"Her name is Maura. And the boys are Greg and Niall!" Those name must be popular. There's also a Niall Horan from around here.

"What's her last name?"

"I don't know. I didn't ask. But your father and I are going over for dinner tonight. You two will stay here." Telling me to stay makes me wanna go. But if she don't want me to go I won't. It's not like it would be interesting at all.

"Not like we want to go anyways." James said, reading my mind.

"Well you'll eventually have to meet them, weather you like it or not." Ughh! She'd going to force me to go somewhere I don't want to go! Grrrrrrr!

"So, Mel. When are you gonna hang out with Jeniah again?" James asked once mom left the room.

"I'll probably go over in a little bit and eat dinner there also. Do you want to come with?" I asked. See, I can tell my brother has a thing for Jeniah, and the other way around. Yeah, it would be a little weird if my only friend started dating my brother, but I don't really care.

"Yeah!" He said a little too enthusiastic.

"We're leaving in five!" I yelled as I walked to my room. Time to get out of my pj's and into normal clothes. What to wear? What to wear? I ended up deciding on a Holister t-shirt and some jeans. I walked to the living room to see if my brother is ready or not.

"Took you long enough, sis." James complained.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. Quit you're complaining. You should be happy I'm taking you to go see Jeniah and not leaving you home alone."

"Fine." He mumbled. I grabbed the keys and headed out to the car. The drive from my house to hers is only fifteen minutes. When we arrived my brother quickly hopped out and went up to the doorstep. I slowly followed behind.
