When the lunch bell rang I dashed out of Geography. Today Kyle sat next to me, I thought I could ignore him but her kept putting his hand on my knee making me feel uneasy. I kept my face blank because I knew he wanted a reaction out of me. He moved his hand higher and I just pulled it off my leg without any expression on my face. I see his smirk falter out of the corner of my eye and smirk myself. After a few more minutes of Kyle's fooling around the bell rings signalling lunch. I grabbed my bag and ran out of the room. I dropped my bag off in my locker before catching up with Finn Hannah and Hailey.
"Hey guys!" I say cheerily.
"Why so happy? Did you you get laid last night?" Hannah wriggled her eyebrows at me. I rolled my eyes and smacked her arm.
"I already told you nothing happened between Kyle and I. He drove me home. That's it. End of story." I said glaring at her
"She never said it was Kyle. You just assumed." Hailey smirked and I blushed
"Shut up Hailey." I said crossing my arms over my chest.
"So I'm confused are you and Kyle a thing or not?" Finn asked.
"No definitely not." I say
"It's only a matter of time." Hannah and Hailey said in sync. We walked through the lunchroom doors and got in line. I went back to the table and put my stuff down before returning to the end of the line. A hand tapped on my shoulder I turned around.
"Ugh what do you want." I groaned.
"That little façade you had in Geography was good." He said
"What on earth are you talking about?" I said turning to put an apple on my tray. I held out my tray for a chicken Caesar salad as Kyle talked.
"Fine then two can play at this game." He smirked at me before taking the apple off my tray and walking away. I rolled my eyes. Whatever 'game' he thought I was going to play I would simply do the opposite. Talk to me, I ignore you. Smile at me, I frown and so on. I walked over to my table after grabbing another apple and sat next across from the twins and Finn.
"We saw you and Kyle chatting earlier." Hannah said with a knowing smile. I shrugged and ate my salad.
"He was so hitting on you." Hailey said
"Finn! Tell them Kyle and I aren't a thing!" I wined
"And why not?" A voice came from behind me. I turn and saw Kyle standing there in all his hot bad boy glory. Wait did I seriously just think that? Ew! Gross. No. He's a man whore.
'An attractive man whore.'
'Shut up subconscious! Nobody likes you.'
'You and I are the same person, stupid.'
'Yeah well.'
Wait I'm having a mental argument with my subconscious. I'm really weird. Maybe I should see a doctor.
Suddenly I was shifted back to reality when the bench was no longer under my butt. Instead it was Kyle.
"KYLE!" I yelped squirming to try and get off him.
"You love it." He whispered in my ear. I snorted and stood up.
"In your dreams Keller." I said glaring at him
"Oh you most defiantly will be tonight." He said making me blush deep red.
"Why are you here?" I asked hiding my face with my ruby hair.
"I came to ask you if you would accompany me to a party on Friday." Kyle said with a smirk.
"No way Keller." I said
"Excuse us for a moment." Hailey and Hannah grabbed both of my arms and dragged me to the corner of the room. Hannah slapped the side of my head.
"OW! What's wrong with you?!" I yelped lifting a hand to the side of my head.
"What's wrong with me?! What's wrong with you! Kyle Flapping Keller basically asks you out and you say NO?!" Hannah yelled
"I-" I started but Hailey cut me off
"No we are not done yet. He is the hottest guy in school! You don't just say no to him. I mean really?! The female population of the school want to tap that. I want to tap that." Hailey said obviously aggravated
"One night! Please! For us! And our accents?!" The twins said together.
"Fine! I'll say yes! Gosh You Britts and you're persuasive accents." I grumbled back to the table and blew on my bangs "Fine Ill go to that dumb party with you." I said while glaring at my annoying yet extremely persuasive friends. They just smiled at me evilly. Yeah great friends.
