When we reached the apartment, a month after graduation, my first thought was this is my new home. My second thought however was IM FREE! "We are on the third floor." Kyle says parking the car. I glanced at him to see that he was looking right back at me a loving smile spread across his beautiful face. I smiled back and squeezed his hand.
"Lets get unpacking."

"This is us." He told me standing in front of the door marked 34c our new apartment.
"May I have the key?" I asked and held out my hand awaiting the cool metal. He dropped it in my opened palm and I gripped it. I turned to the door and shoved the key in the lock. Slowly turning until I heard the click. I pushed open the door and stepped inside.
"Oh my gosh." I said.
"You look around and I'll start bringing up boxes." Ky said and kissed my cheek. I nodded still in awe.
And I am only in the living room I thought. Although the only thing in the room was a bright red couch I loved it. There was a big window with a bench under it. The window over looked the lawn below which was boring but from here you could make out the park. "There's a fricken park." I then turned to examine the walls. Two of the walls were Sheetrock the third wall was brick and the fourth was a bookshelf. A fricken bookshelf. In the fathamucking wall. I walked over and ran my hand across it. I saw that there was a small section I could see the kitchen though. I walked around the bookshelf wall as the kitchen was right behind it.
The colour scheme was red and gold with white appliances. The walls were a cheerful yellow colour and the tile as well as the table were a dark brick red. Under the table there were two stools. The curtains above the sink, that had the same view as the large window in the living room, were also the brick red. I made a mental note to get yellow and red plates.
I left the kitchen and walked down the hallway. There were four doors in the short hallway making it look kind of crowded. I opened the first door and it was a closet. The second door was a spare room defiantly not big enough for Kyle and I's room. The third door was the bathroom. It had a bath/shower, one sink, a toilet, hooks on the back of the door and a small towel closet. The colour scheme was white and navy blue. The walls were navy blue as was the shower curtain but the sink, the toilet, the shower, and the tile floor were all white.
I knew the last room had to be Kyle and I's room and when I opened the door I was right. Inside it was empty aside from a closet and a dresser that was pushed to the left of the closet.
Our new home was small but for two people it was perfect.
"How is it?" A voice startled me.
"Jesus! Don't do that!" I said slapping Kyle's arm. "I love it though it's perfect." I kissed him lightly before pulling back.
"I knew you'd like it." He smiled.
"Well these boxes aren't going to unpack themselves." I sighed.
"Ugh I know."

"I am dog tired." I said dropping on the couch.
"Ugh me too." He said "At least your done for the night I still have to put the TV in." He said
"Do we have a VCR?" I asked looking at my tapes and Disney movies
"Yeah it's with the TV." Ky rubbed his eyes tiredly.
"Can you put it in? When you do the TV?" I asked
"Yeah but your putting the books on the shelf. And ordering take out." He smiled tiredly, got up off the couch and got to work installing our TV.
