A Boy/Girl Thing

20: Graduation 2.0

I woke up to an annoying beeping noise in my ear. My alarm clock. After a few minutes I lifted my head off my nice soft pillow. Oh my pillow how I love my pillow. I left my bed and climbed over to my closet.

"What to wear." I mumbled pulling out a white dress from the hanger. It was slightly see through at the top but with a grey tank top it could be fixed easily. I slid on the outfit and added my brown leather jacket and brown leather boots. I looked pretty damn good if I do say so myself. The dress was knee length and had a scoop neckline so it wasn't too revealing.

"Cassie?" my mothers voice came through the door. "Got your gown."

"Come in!" I called and went into the bathroom to brush my teeth.

"It's on your bed. Now I want a picture of you with your friends after." I nodded and spit the paste from my mouth.

"Thanks mama." I smiled, kissed her cheek and slipped on the gold gown.

"Oh my little girl is graduating! Next thing I know Dani's having kids." mom began crying.

"If Dani has kids anytime soon ill kill the boy." a voice said from the hall. Brent appeared in my doorway.

"What do you want swine?" I asked feigning exasperation.

"I wanted to drive my sista to her graduation." he said placing a hand over his heart his pain as fake as my annoyance.

"Okay!" I smiled "Its not for another two hours but I want to get there early." I said "You know to save you guys some seats."

"Yeah Cassie but two hours early?" Brent looked skeptical.

"CASSSSIIIIIEEEEE!" Aiden ran into the room and tackled me followed by Dad and finally Dani.

"What... is.... this... party.... in.... Cassies.... room?" I panted.

"Yep." Dad lifted his head off Aidens back.

"Frank grow up." Mom said lifting Dani off Dad.

"Yeah grow up Frank." Dani stuck her tongue out at Dad. "And you people say I'm the most inmytour." Everyone burst into laughter at Dani's attempt to say immature.

"Alright everybody out!" I yelled "I want food! McDonalds if you will."

"Lets go!" Dani yelled at the mention of McDonalds.

"Do you think they'd give me a toy with my Big Mac?" Brent asked stupidly.

"You're an idiot." Aiden said "How I managed to share a womb with you I'll never understand."

"HEY YOU LOVED BEING WOMB MATES DON'T LIE!"

"So where is Kyle?" Mom asked me.

"I don't know. I tried texting him but he didn't answer." Kyle always answers my texts so I guess he must have a good reason.

"Cassie!" A voice called. I turned and saw Mrs. Keller running over waving like a crazy person dragging poor Zach over with her. God I love that woman.

"Hey Mrs.Keller!" I said and she attacked me in a hug. "Hey Zach!"

"Oh where have you been?! I haven't seen you in forever!" She gushed.

"You saw me two nights ago." I laughed and heard someone clear their throat. "Oh sorry! This is my mom, Mom this is Mrs.Keller Kyle's mom." I introduced the women.

"Hello! I'm Vivian and this is my husband Frank, my sons Aiden and Brent and my youngest Dani." Mom said

"I'm Lori and this my son Zach and my daughter and soon-to-be-son-in-law are somewhere around here." She said and my eyes widened.
