Chapter 13
Niall’s P.O.V
I raced around back stage in search for Liam. I had no luck so I decided to head to his dressing room, I heard laughter from the room as I was getting closer, but when I pushed the door open it was not Lou or Cassie I saw with him but a very pretty brunette
“Liam who’s that?” I asked confused
“That would be Emily.” He smiled getting up of the sofa
“Nice to meet you.” She chirped
“And you.” I nodded “Liam, can I urm talk to you please?”
Liam nodded before giving Emily an apologetic smile. He opened the door and stepped out with me following. When we were outside the door he closed it and started to talk
“What’s up?” He grinned
“I was talking to Jemma and-”
“She’s your girlfriend now? Congrats man! I knew this could work and-”
“No Liam, she’s not my girlfriend, and you’re plan failed miserably.” I sighed
“Oh.”
“Yeah, Oh.” I snorted “So I’ve decided I’m gonna make up with Cassie.”
“About time.” He laughed
“Whatever, have you seen her?” I sighed
“Try her dressing room. She could be in there with El or Lou.” Liam smiled
“Alright thanks Liam.”
“No problem.”
I gave Liam a manly pat on the shoulder and walked off into the direction of Cassie’s dressing room. I stopped when I came outside it. I tried to build up the courage to push down the handle. What if Cassie doesn’t want me as her friend again? It seems pathetic to you, but to me our friendship is everything.
I pushed it all aside as my hand flew to the handle, and with a slight force pushed the door open. Cassie’s and Eleanor’s heads snapped in my direction. Eleanor rose her eyebrows in question at my hard entrance.
“Talk of the devil.” Cassie mumbled. “What do you want?”
“To talk to you.” I spoke sheepishly, Eleanor shuffled in her seat. “Alone.”
“I have to go see Louis anyways, see ya in a bit Cas’” she smiled jumping up out of her seat and closing the door behind her.
“Well?” Cassie pushed as she leant on her dressing table.
“I-I’m… well, you see… it’s that-”
“Spit it out Niall!” She yelped
“I’m sorry!” I rushed out
“For?”
“I’m sorry for being an arse. I should have never had said those things. I have no idea with what came across me and I had no reason to talk to you like that. I miss you so damn much Cassie! I hate, I mean hate fighting with you. You’re my best friend damn it, I’m lost without you. I deserved the two busted cheeks you gave me, and I understand if you’re still mad… I just miss you so damn much.” I admitted
“You’re such a fanny.” She laughed
“I gave you an apology and you call me a fanny” I gasped
“I’m missed you too.” She yelped wrapping her arms around me
I froze for a moment, a warm tingly sensation ran through my body. (No, I was not going to get a boner) before I hugged her back. I snuggled my head as deep into her neck as I could get, her chocolate perfume made my nostrils orgasm before picking her up and spinning her around.
She took a step back and the cold rushed towards my body, I once again felt empty without holding her, but I put a smile on my face and acted as if it was just a makeup hug. Although I felt empty and cold to a degree, I felt warm and full of life because I had my best friend back, all though I’m coming to terms with the fact we will never be.
Then she smiled at me.
Who am I kidding? I am nowhere near the terms that we will never be. Jesus Christ I want to hold her and never let go. I can see why people simply fan girl over that amazing smile, but as long as she’s smiling I’ll be happy, and even more so when I’m the cause of that white grin.
“Niall.” She whispered
“Mhm?”
“Are we going to… you know, continue with the plan?” she asked sheepishly
“Of course we are!” I yelped, but this plan was more for her than me.
“Great.” She grinned
“But.” I spoke quickly “Tomorrow before we leave we should go out to lunch for a catch up!”
“Nandos?” she laughed
“Oh you know me so well.” I smiled while winking
"You're mental." she laughed
Only about you, oh, If only you knew.
