I followed Mother to the training fields and I saw Naruto and Sakura sitting in the grass waiting for Mom. They both jumped when Mom appeared behind them and tapped their shoulders. I smiled and went next to Mother. I waved at Naruto and glared slightly at Sakura.
“Hey Naruto-kun~!” I greeted. Mom nudged my side when I didn’t acknowledge Sakura. I groaned. “Hello Pink-barf-chan.” I said while sticking my finger in my mouth. She glared at me while Mom chuckled. My mom and I had the same twisted humor.
“Let’s get started today. This training session Taintie is going to be joining us.” Mom explained and Naruto grinned while Sakura just frowned. “Now then, fifty laps around Konoha will be the first part of our warm-ups.” Naruto and Sakura groaned while I smirked. I could run for miles without stopping. I paused and looked back at Mom before I started running.
“What’s dad doing today? Can’t he join us too?” I tilted my head a bit and she shook her head.
“He’s meeting with his team in about… well, now actually.” I sighed. He was always away doing either missions or training his team. Maybe I could train with him and his team one day. “Are you going to go, Taintie? The others left already a while ago.” Mom commented and broke me from my zoning out. I anime fell and nodded quickly.
“I’ll be done before them anyway.” Mom gave me a look.
“Don’t go too much faster than Naruto. They may get suspicious.” She sternly told me and I huffed, waving her words away. I started running at a quick human pace and I saw Sakura in the distance, but no Naruto. That’s why she didn’t include Barfy; she was slower than a slug. I passed her with ease and craned my head around and stuck my tongue at her. I looked back in front of me and sped up a little to catch up to Naruto.
Finally I slowly came to next to him and he glanced at me with confusion.
“How are you so fast!?” he exclaimed and I smirked at him.
“Don’t underestimate me Naruto-kun~!” I sang and I saw that he was starting to break a sweat. That just improved my confidence. But just then Naruto shot ahead of me. I scowled and flew next to him again, which was really easy on my part.
We both continued going faster and faster until we were at Naruto’s top speed, which was incredibly fast for a mere human. Then I rethought about that. Naruto wasn’t full human. He had the Nine Tails inside of him. Maybe that was why I was having slight difficulty keeping up. I noticed we passed the village 49 times and got ready to suddenly turn towards the training grounds.
When I did, I caught Naruto off guard and he had to slow down to turn and never sped up again. Because of him slowing down, I had won. I met back up with Mom and she gave me a small smile and a sweat drop.
“Honey, you know… Sakura is only on her tenth lap.” I laughed at that and moved the hair out of my eyes. It had already grown an inch, and becoming a nuisance. “But that doesn’t give you guys a break, do 100 pushups!” I just noticed Naruto was back and laying on the ground with his right leg in the air and twitching.
“You look like Flea-Dog-Kun.” AKA Kiba. It wasn’t like I disliked him, it was the fact I hated dogs. That really sucked because Dad summons dumb dogs. Naruto flipped over and started to do pushups slowly. I sighed dramatically but got on the ground also.
When it became evening it was time for me to go home. Hidan had come to get me and walk me home because Mom told him this morning to. Why were those three boys so loyal to Mom? What were their pasts? And what did that have to do with Mom? I had so many questions, but no answers. I wanted to find out but I was too afraid to ask. Why? I wasn’t so sure myself.
“What’s on your mind, Tiny-chan?”Hidan asked and I sighed.
“Too much.” I couldn’t bring myself to tell him and I knew he wouldn’t push it and leave me alone. I was Moms child. For some reason I felt like a princess because of the fact. I mean, I have three boys who protect me and I have the Copy Cat ninja as a father and a vampire as a mother. I was a hybrid, and I didn’t know what to think about that… half human, half vampire.
It kind of reminded me of Naruto. He had the Nine Tails in him so he wasn’t a pure human either. I could relate to him like no other. Unless if there were other Tails. If would make sense if there were, because Naruto is the Nine Tails, not the First Tail. But then again, what if it was named that because it just only had Nine Tails. I wanted so much more knowledge on the world it was crazy. I wanted to know everything.
“We’re home.” Hidan informed and I found myself in front of the door that led inside my house. We walked inside and I plopped next to my dad on the couch. He was watching Chuck Norris goes Shinobi. I’ve seen the film twice already but that didn’t matter, all that mattered was I was with my dad.
“Hey Taintie, how was training with your mother?” Dad asked and I beamed at him.
“It was tiring, but I beat Naruto-kun when we ran 50 laps around the village!” he casted a smile down towards me and nodded.
“I’m proud of you Taintie. Don’t you forget that.” I stared at him for a moment, shock spreading around my body. He has never told me that before. He was proud.
He was proud of me, Constantine Hatake, and he didn’t want me to forget. And I definitely would not.
“Thank you.” I mumbled embarrassed. He watched me amused and he cupped his hidden ear. I’ve seen behind his mask, there’s nothing special about it except for his one Sharingan eye that he got from a deceased Uchiha friend. I also want to know more about that. Were dad and him close? How did the Uchiha die? What was the Uchiha’s first name?
“I couldn’t hear you, what was that?” I felt my face slightly turn red. I inwardly groaned. He was doing this on purpose!
“I said… f*ck you.” I innocently smiled at him and his eye widened and his jaw dropped.
“Where did you hear that word, young lady?!” He yelled and I managed not to flinch. I cocked my head to the side in a cute little way and softened my smile.
“Hidan.” He growled and shot off of the couch, muttering how he was going to beat Hidan into a bloody pulp. I laughed and he looked at me.
“Daddy, you must remember that Hidan enjoys pain and blood. He used to be a Jashinist. Besides, the blood will get to me… speaking of blood, I haven’t had any since this morning.” I said the last part to myself. With Moms warning about me going crazy and out of control without blood, I never went over four hours without it. I’ve went all day and I felt fine. I mean, I could use some for the heck of it, but I wasn’t hungry for blood. In fact, I wanted some human food! Mm… chocolate.
“Where’s Deidara?” I asked Dad, who has now sat back on the couch and was watching the television again and he pointed to the ceiling.
“Bedroom.” He said in monotone and I nodded. I ran upstairs and to his door. I knocked once and waited for the official ‘come in’. When he said to, I opened the door and saw him playing with non-explosive plain gray clay.
“What do you want, Tiny-chan?” he asked, somewhat irritated. He seemed to try and hide it though.
“I want to go buy some chocolate.” He groaned and looked over to the other side of the room where Sasori was.
“Go buy Tiny-chan some chocolate Sasori.” He demanded and pointed at me. “She is a hungry girl and needs her candy!” I giggled when Sasori huffed. He stood up and slipped on his jacket. I took that as a yes and cheered happily, skipping downstairs and to the door to wait for Sasori. I stopped when I heard a sob and skipped into the living room to see Dad crying because Chuck Norris dies, but really he doesn’t… and Dad knew that because both times I’ve watched the movie he was with me.
Odd.
