"You can't stop change any more than you can stop the suns from setting."

Love was a very peculiar thing. In some ways, it was one of the strongest powers in the galaxy, even stronger than the force. Though in other scenarios, it is blinding and cruel. One day a person could be so sure they are in love with someone and have found their soulmate but then the next day, they could be crying because they aren't so sure they are their soulmates' soulmate. Love truly was peculiar thing and Elara had to figure out which version her and Kylo shared.

She was pacing around her cell room but confused and determined. The two guards from earlier, FR-2178 and CL-1210 didn't want to say anything to her since a stormtrooper had brought her in screaming and crying. Elara was calm now fortunately, she had meditated a great deal and was able to take a few deep breaths.

She knew now that there was darkness flowing through her veins and realized that she did have a saber representing both side of the force. If she had chosen the dark side like she was supposed to, her family could be whole.

"Elara?" FR-2178 interrupted her thoughts. "We have word that General Hux is coming down to the cell to question you."

Elara snorted, unhappy with the fact that the First Order couldn't give her an hour of quiet. "About what?"

"The Resistance."

Elara raised her eyebrow. "Why would they question me? I was onboard with the Resistance for less than a day and they suddenly think I have all the answers?"

"Beats me." CL-1210 shrugged. "The First Order has an obsession with taking over the entire galaxy and even I don't know why."

Elara sat back down in the chair places in the centre of the prison cell. She was taken away the privilege of having an actual room since she destroyed the last one. She leant her head back and grunted. "I haven't met Hux yet."

"Bit of a tosser really." CL responded. "He's nothing special."

"He's very intimidating, even though he's a ginger." FR explained.

"My point, how can a ginger be intimidating?" CL chuckled, but her helmet made it sound odd.

"You'd be surprised." Elara sighed, looking down at the palms of her hand. "I had a friend who was a ginger, though it reminded me more of the sun than the stereotypes."

"What was her name?" FR asked quietly, knowing they had sparked a sad memory.

"Vega Delgado."

General Hux entered without a word, circling Elara's chair with broad shoulders and a tall posture. It seemed like he had never smiled a day in his life and his icy blue eyes sent aggressive shivers down Elara's back. He turned to the stormtroopers, telling them sternly to leave them. He immediately went to Elara's chair and tightened the restraints so she would not be able to attack him.

"So you're the great Jedi?" He questioned, appalled. "You seem a bit-"

"Weak? Tired? Sore? Try staying in the care of the First Order for a long time buddy, it ain't fun."

His face twitched. "I need you to tell me where the Resistance base is located."

"Not a chance." Elara spat out, even though she hadn't a clue where the actual base was located.

"Very well." He straightened out his jacket. "I would apologize about your parents' escape pod, but I am not sorry."

"You?" She glared at him. "You killed them?"
