Finding Little Parker

Chapter 8

Lately, Jaike has been working later hours and starting before I even wake up. I feel him come to bed but I just pretend I am sleeping. I don't understand his rejection now of all this time being together he does it now.

Like every day this week, Jaike was already at work so I was at home with Parker. That was until I had a knock on the door. I knew straight away who it was because I had been talking to Leah about Jaike.

Once I had opened the door to him he had a polite smile on his face "can I come in for coffee?"

I hesitantly nodded my head opening the door further to let him in. As he sat at the counter I made him a cup of coffee and myself a hot chocolate.

I asked, "and what brings you here today?"

Mark took my hand in his "I have heard Jaike's being a dick so I wanted to see if you were okay?"

I fake smiles at him "your concerns are touching but Jaike and I are just fine."

He put his hand on my knee "Cam it's okay not to be okay he is cheating on you, you don't have to be so calm."

I got up shocked yelling "he is not cheating on me we are going through a rough patch nothing more."

Mark nodded his head looking unconvinced "okay Cameron but we are all here for you."

I again gave him another fake smile "thanks for stopping by Mark."

As I walked him to the door Jaike was standing there looking tired and mad... The boys passed tight smiles before Mark added "thanks for having me over."

I then walked back into the kitchen and put the glasses in the sink. Jaike came up behind me "so I work hard all day while you're at home with him?"

I shook my head "no I am not at home with him."

Jaike suddenly asked, "are you sleeping with him?"

I looked at him gobsmacked and asked "are you cheating on me with some office slut?"

Jaike laughed at me "you didn't deny it, baby."

By then tears had come to my eyes "I didn't think I need to answer some bullshit question I haven't been sleeping with anyone because you are never home. Also, I am pregnant with our baby who would want to get with me?"

Jaike laughed as if what I had said was the most ridiculous thing he had heard "my brother, Cameron, he would fuck you that's who."

I whispered, "I would never sleep with him and how did this come to me Jaike you haven't been home where were you at your girlfriends' place, some other slut?"

He face started to turn red "of course Cam I have been sleeping around because I have always been this big player."

I sobbed out "I want you gone Jaike out of this house and away from my kids please go."

Jaike looked at me shocked "you can't kick me out Cam this is our house mine and yours. Again, our kids we both have custody of Parker and it takes two to tango Cam."

I took a step towards Parkers room "fine then I will get Parker and go elsewhere enjoy your sluts."

Jaike grabbed my elbow "neither one of us are leaving Cam because we need to sort this out I haven't touched a girl since way before us so don't talk shit."

I whispered, "I haven't touched another guy other than you since HIGH SCHOOL!"

Jaike put his head in his hands "I hate being like this he has put so much doubt into my head Cam I'm so sorry."

I looked at him shocked "and you couldn't just trust me?"

He nodded his head "I'm sorry Cameron."

By now Jaike had tears streaming down his cheeks. I took him into my arms cuddling him, I gently covered his face in kisses "I think we both need time to think things over."

Jaike looked at me even more saddened then before "why do we need a break we got to the bottom of the problem?"

I wiped away his tears "we both need to think about our issues we both so easily believed him Jaike what does that say about us as a couple?"

Jaike nodded his head "but we don't need to take a break."

I put my forehead against his "yes we do just a little one I will be in with Parker he should be awake."

Instead of going into Parker I went into the bathroom. Tears were streaming out of my eyes freely. I slid down the down putting my head on my knees. I covered my mouth with my hands keeping Jaike from hearing me break down in the bathroom and I stayed there until the tears has ran out.

Okay guys a little update sorry it has been so long I have been so busy with TAFE and my jobs I only have Sunday to myself and they are usually spent doing something.
