***1 year and 9 months later***
Today is Parkers 2nd birthday, Jaike and I have put together a little party. We even invited some friends from the neighbourhood and from the park. Since adopting him we have watched him grow into this amazing beautiful boy. His white blonde hair has now darkened so he looks a bit more like me although he isn't mine people always say he looks like me.
Jaike, Parker and I were seated at the table surrounded by people that love our little family. Parker was looking at the candles fascinated by the light. I placed my chin on his little shoulder blowing out his candles cheering along with everyone else. I kissed his forehead before passing him to Jaike.
After the cake was cut up I walked back over to Jaike and Parker handing them a piece.
I took Parker back into my lap placing him on my lap so he can eat his cake. As soon as his cake was all over his face and the floor I got him wiped down and then sat him on the couch with Jaike so they could open presents.
Every time our parents see him they spoil him rotten, they like us instantly fell in love with Parker. Although our mums have gotten on our case about having our own we both want Parker to be older.
I was now tucking Parker in bed after everyone let we put Parker into his playpen to play with his new toys. Meanwhile, Jaike and I cleared up, once the house was cleaned we both tucked Parker in kissing him on the forehead.
Jaike then dragged me to bed and we cuddled for a while. He buried his head into my neck and whispered "I love you, Cameron."
I kissed him "I love you Jaike" I replied.
I kissed him gently on the lips followed with a heavy make-out session. The make-out session turned out to clothes being removed and then as underwear was then about to come off Parker started to cry.
Once he was settled again and I was again in bed with Jaike, I asked "are we ever going to get the time?"
Jaike kissed my neck "maybe when he's twenty?"
