Some darn luck based card game (EWG)

Cilan: Hey!

Brock: Time for some more Elemeno Winter Games!

Barry: In the last event, our competitors played some Mario Kart DS. It was the Blue Team that managed to get the victory.

Cilan: For the next event, we will be playing a very popular card game.

Brock: The game was already played before by the Pokémon Peeps.

Barry: We're playing some UNO!

Cilan: However, we're not going to use the Frozen cards. Instead, we'll be making use of regular playing cards.

Brock: So in a way...it's not really UNO.

Barry: We won't having cards such as Draw Two, Draw Four or any other card that mess you up. It's all pure luck.

Brock: Also, instead of seven cards to begin with, the players will only have five cards since a single deck is not enough for eight players if we give them seven.

Cilan: This will only be a short game because we're only doing one round.

Barry: The players for this event will be those who didn't compete in the Mario Kart event.

Brock: So let's welcome...Misty, Drew, Milani, James, Blue, Leaf, Paul and Gold!

Cilan: Let's now give the floor to our referees, Clemont and Tracey.

Clemont: Okay, guys. Position.

Players: *take their seats*

Clemont: *shuffles and distributes cards*Do not open your cards yet.

Tracey: You may get a card from the pile here if you don't get a match. However, you may only get one per turn. Also, we will not reshuffle the discard pile, so it will be pure luck.

James: I didn't bring my lucky bottle caps.

Milani: Drew, did you wear your lucky underwear?

Drew: All my underwear are lucky.

Misty: We'll see.

Clemont: Misty, we'll begin with you and we will play in a clockwise manner.

Tracey: Our first card is a five of hearts.

Clemont: Begin!

Misty: Queen of hearts.

Drew: Nine of hearts.

Milani: Fudge. *draws one card* Pass.

James: Eight of hearts.

Blue: *draws one card*Pass

Leaf: *draws one card* Seven of hearts

Paul: Three of hearts

Gold: Three of clubs!

Blue: Well finally we're not playing hearts.

Misty: Three of diamonds.

Drew: Queen of diamonds.

Milani: King of diamonds.

James: King of hearts.

Blue: Are you kidding me? Oh. Wait. King of Clubs.

Leaf: Five of clubs.

Paul: Two of clubs.

Gold: Two of spades!

Misty: Six of spades.

Drew: King of spades.

Milani: Queen of spades.
