Chapter 23

~The next morning~

"Ally wake up, wake up, wake up!!!" I hear the voices of Hayley and Farrah.

"Go away." I groan, swatting at empty air with my hands.

"C'mon wake up we need full details on your date!" Farrah says excitedly.

"Hmm no!" I mumble back.

Then all of a sudden I get whacked in the head with a pillow.

"OW!" I yelp as I shoot up from my bed. "What do you want?!"

"We want the details, girlfriend." Hayley says as she puts down my pillow.

"And you're going to be late for school if you don't get ready." Farrah says. "We're your ride today so hurry up we can't be late either darling."

"Yup go put this on." Hayley says as she walks out of my closet and throws me a pair of hollister skinny jeans and a plain hollister t-shirt at me.

"You got 5 minutes! We're going to be late!" Farrah exclaims.

"Ok ok i'm going" I quickly take the clothes and head to the bathroom to get ready.

I walk out about 10 minutes later all freshened up and see Hayley and Farrah look at me with complete glee on their faces.

"What?" I ask. "Too much mascara?"

"No! We need details about your date with Chase!" Farrah exclaims.

"I'll tell you in the car, lets go guys we're gonna be late." I quickly grab my backpack and head downstairs with Farrah and Hayley.

"SHOTGUN!" Farrah yells, speed walking to the car.

"And I'm driving, so Ally, you get the back seat." Hayley winks at me.

We get in the car and I tell them everything that happened, including the weird mystery guy.

"So did you guys kiss when he took you home?" Hayley asks, her eyes wide open.

"Oh... About that..." I chuckle lightly.

"C'mon tell us!" Farrah squeals.

"He was making a move, then all of a sudden, that strange guy that wore everything covering him from head to toe ran by and knocked Chase to the ground and ran away... So I had to walk him back to his car and I told him to get home as soon as possible before the guy comes back and does more harm." I say. "I think that guy was the same guy that helped me up at the ice skating rink. He like has something against Chase"

"Did you see who the guy was?" Hayley asks.

"No, I would've told you" I say sadly, "It was too dark to tell."

"I'm going to find that guy, and I'm going to kill him!" Hayley says angrily.

"Why?" I ask, cautiously.

"He basically just ruined your date! The kiss at the end is supposed to be the highlight of every date!" She says disappointed and angrily at the same time.

"Do you have any idea who the guy could be?" Farrah asks, raising her eyebrows.

"No... He had a familiar voice and I can probably recognize it if I hear it again." I say.

"Well we're at school, lets go find the douchebag!" Hayley says.

I laugh and get out of the car, seeing my school.
"Hey catch up with you guys later." I say walking away from them and heading to my locker.

I look around for Chase but I don't see any sign of him around. I get to my locker and start unlocking it. And once I open it, I hear Aaron's voice saying "Hey"

We haven't spoken since my fight with Lauren at Starbucks. (The girl he cheated on me with.)

But seeing him standing right in front of me leaning on the lockers with one hand, he just looks so cute.

Snap out of it Ally don't let his good looks fools you.

I scoff and ask rudely "What do you want?"

"You know we can still be friends right? You don't have to hate me so much. I miss you." He says so innocently.

Gosh he's so cute right now. I have to remind myself to keep it together, can't let him manipulate me.

"Yeah, tell me how many of ex-girlfriends become friends with their ex-boyfriends after he cheated on her...Yup that's right, ZERO." I say as I walk away from him.

He walks after me and practically begs "please just think about giving me a chance to be your friend, ill do anything."

"Yeah whatever, leave me alone." I say rolling my eyes and walking faster to get away from him.

'Don't go after me don't go after me' I think to myself.

"So how are you and Chase?" Aaron asks walking besides me now.

'Damn it' I thought.

"Good. Thanks for asking." I tell him. 'Gosh why is the classroom so far away today.' I thought to myself.

"Is he treating you well? Because if he doesn't I will personally beat him up. Because that's what friends do for each other." He says winking and elbowing me. I immediately think of the mysterious guy wearing all that stuff that knocked Chase down.

"Yeah he's treating me well thanks." I say loosening up a little.

"Where is he anyways?" Aaron asks, looking up and down the hall.

"I don't know. Probably home because he got attacked by some moron last night." I say,glancing towards Aaron.

"Oh...did you see who it was?" He asks, scratching his head.

"No. It was too dark." I sigh.

Aaron's POV

'I told him if he was going to keep Chase from kissing her, gently shove the kid not attack him.' I thought to myself, angrily.

"So what's up with you?" Ally asks interrupting my thoughts.

"Not much. Hey there's my brother Blake I have to go talk to him. See you in class." I say walking away from Ally and towards the moron.

"Hey little bro what's up?" Blake asks.

"Did you attack Chase last night?" I ask, angrily.

"No I just ran by him and nudged the kid a little and he fell over." Blake chuckles loudly.

"I didn't pay you $50 to hurt anybody!" I raise my voice at him.

"Well... I sort of slightly nudged Ally too and she fell...BUT I helped her up." Blake says.

"WHAT? If she finds out about this she will never ever talk to me again and we're just starting to become friends again." I say angrily at Blake, slightly shoving him towards a locker.

"Woah woah calm your butt, she's never going to find out." Blake says with a smirk. "Now are we still up for this Friday?"
