Chapter 8

Ally's POV

After we ate breakfast, Aaron decided to take me someplace "cheerful". I just went through a breakup with someone I wasn't even truly dating, and now I'm already hanging out with another boy. But the only difference is... I actually sorta kinda like Aaron a lot.

We drive there in his car, and I don't even know where were going.

"We're here!" He says happily, as he gets out and opens the door for me. Guys are supposed to do this on an actual date, but he's already doing it for me... what a gentleman. I blush at the thought.

"This is your definition of 'cheerful'? I ask, acting unimpressed.

His mood seems to drop and I immediately feel bad for what I said.

"Well since you were acting like a 5 year old, I decided to take you here." He says winking at me. Winking seems to be his habit or something, he does it alot.

"And we can be alone, for you to cry as much as you want over Justin." He adds.

"I am not going to cry over Justin!" I say a little too loud.

"Oh and why is that?" He questions.

"OMG is that a swing!?!" I say, pointing to a swing I see behind a tall fence. I successfully change the subject, so I dont have to admit the truth about why I didn't feel bad when Justin broke up with me.

I hear him chuckle as I run toward the swings, but I stop in my tracks.

"Hey... The park is closed." I say sadly.

He puts his hand on the fence, "We can jump over the fence."

"I can not jump that fence..." I say doubtfully.

"Let me help you." He says smiling.

He puts his strong hands on my waist and pushes up.

I climb the fence and once I get to the top, he helps me climb over. He gives me a lift, and I make it to the top. Now... I have to jump down.

"Wait up there, I'll help you get down." He says, climbing.

In legit 1 minute, he gets to the top and jumps the fence. Wow he must do this a lot.

"Come down slowly." He says as he held onto my waist.

I finally manage to get off the fence and continue running to the swing. He follows me. I haven't been on a swing for a long time, so I couldn't swing really high, so he pushes me gently.

After a while, he seems to get tired of pushing me, but doesn't admit it. So I tell him he can stop. I look around for entertainment, and I spot a see saw. I jump off the swing, grab his hand and drag him over to the see saw and make him play with me.

I sit down first, and once he sits down, I start to rise up. I start laughing, and then he joins me, as we continuously move up and down. He makes me laugh a lot as we continue to talk. He makes me feel so happy and forget all my worries about Justin, and my mom, with whom I have to deal with later. But right now, I'm having the time of my life with Aaron Carter.

I finally get bored of the seesaw and so does Aaron, although he doesn't complain, which is really sweet of him. I smile at the thought of that, and I feel like I have a whole fucking zoo in my stomach. And to top it off, my heart rapidly pounds in my chest. All this because of Aaron Carter.

I go over to the slide next, and I climb to the top. Aaron waits at the bottom. Most public slides go really slow as you slide down, so I basically swing myself by the edges, and I go down full speed. I try to stop myself from jumping out the bottom of slide, but once I get to the bottom it's too late.

I throw myself at Aaron and we both fall down, I fall on top of him and laugh. I lay against his warm chest. His regularly worn, Hollister cologne, scent drifts to my nose, and oh boy, he smells like really, really good. My chocolate eyes meet his, and in that moment, it seems like everything around us isn't there, and I am there, all alone with Aaron Carter, staring into his perfect blue eyes. All those jumbled thoughts are probably making me blush sooo much. I cover my face, embarrassed. He then uncovers my face, giving me his 100000 dollar smile, and he wraps his arms around me, holding me tightly, but gently. I don't object.

He slowly move his face closer to mine. He was going to kiss me! I don't object this time, like I did with Justin. As our lips touch, he kisses me softly, and my stomach does a million summersaults. I can feel chills going through me, and my heart pounds violently against my chest. All my thoughts drain away.

Aaron's POV

When she landed on me, my head hit the bark of the playground area, and it hurts pretty badly. But having her on top of me, just dissolves away my pain. I don't even know how I got the courage to kiss her. But I feel like with Ally, I can do anything.

Once our lips met, it felt like the most magical moment ever. Her lips are so soft, and I've never experienced any kiss like this before. I know I sound like a girl right now, but I really wish I can stay just like this way forever, with Ally on top of me. She doesn't even move away, until a fucking park ranger comes and ruins the moment.

"HEY YOU TWO! GET OUT THE PARK IS CLOSED!" A short, stubby park ranger screams threateningly.

I wanted to just ignore him. But Ally gets up and straightens herself. I sigh. I wish I could pull her back, but I decide to get up myself.

"Sorry, were leaving right now." I yell back.

Her phone beeps and she opens and reads the text, then looks up at me, looking sad, and says, "I have to go, my mom is getting worried."

My heart sinks. I wanted to hang out with her for a longer time. But instead, I walk her back to the car, and drive her home with an awkward silence the whole way.
