Chapter 12

Everyday when I see him at school, he brightens up my day. We go to classes together walking side by side, holding hands and we hug before going to class. He walks me to class, not caring for being late. My friends make fun of me for finally getting in a relationship, and with him. (They're just being annoying ) and says "Awwww" every single time we're together, adding some giggles.

Aaron and I are walking to class ignoring my friends and his friends like we're the only two people on earth.

He looks thoughtful.  

"We've never actually gone out on our first official date." He say sadly.

"Yes we have... At McDonalds, remember?"

"That isn't considered a date. I just got you dinner. Hey how about I pick you up Friday night and we can go out on our first official date?" He asks, smiling widely.

"Ok! Where to?"

"Oh look at that, we're at your class!" He smiles and hugs me tightly. The late bell rings and he heads to his class. I can't help but be curious as to where he is taking me.

Friday is here and I'm crazy worrying about my date with Aaron. What if I mess up? What if he doesn't have a good time? What if I don't have a good time? I've never been this worried about a first date, not even with Chase and he was my first boyfriend.

I don't even know what to wear! I never do until the last minute cause I wing everything. I decide to text Audrey

[Hey, come over I need your help!-Ally]

Audrey and I only live a couple blocks away from each other so it's pretty easy to get to each others houses.

My doorbell rings and I run downstairs to open the door.

"There you are!" I say happily.

"Well someone seems happy to see me." Audrey says smiling. "Haha just kidding, you're excited for your date! Let's go doll you up."

We walk up to my bedroom and I crash on my bed as she goes through my closet.

"Here's your problem, you have good clothes but you just don't know how to put them together to make yourself look pretty in them." Audrey finally says.

"Well I'm sorry I don't have a good sense of fashion like you." I say.

"Ask Aaron where he's taking you. You have to dress appropriately for the occasion."

[Hey where are you taking me tonight?-Ally]

[If I tell you, it wouldn't be a surprise ;)-Aaron]

[I don't like surprises -___- I want to know what to wear to the place. Ally]

[Wear something casual. You girls always have 'what to wear' problems. Just put on a shirt and pants then go. -Aaron]

"He said casual." I tell Audrey.

"Perfect!" She says as she holds up a blue tank top that says "Wild and Free" and in the other hand, she has a pair of white skinny jeans. Audrey has a huge triumphant smile on her face. "And wear these vans." She says as she throws them toward me.

"Thanks Audrey. I'll go change." I say excited.

"Girl, we have got to put some make up on you." Audrey says.

"I don't want to wear make up." I say, pouting.

"Are you serious? You're pretty, but we have to make you stunning and noticeable."

"I don't wear make up and I don't want to start now."

"Too bad." She says as she drags me to my mom's room to use her make up.

~ 45 minutes later ~

"OMG you look amazing!" Audrey exclaims, her eyes wide.

I look at myself in the mirror hoping that I look bad because I want an excuse not to wear makeup.

"Wow... Where did you learn to apply make up?" I ask, amazed.

"I'm a natural." Audrey says flipping her hair, winking.

I roll my eyes.

[On my way to pick you up :) -Aaron]

"OMG he's coming!" I exclaim.

"Yay! You're first date ever since Chase." Audrey says.

I get nervous at the thought of going on a date with Aaron. I'm not scared of him, I'm just worried I might mess up. Chase wasn't like Aaron. I didn't really care if I messed up with Chase because he would get over it in a split second. Audrey looks at me as if I'm in a coma, and I quickly snap out of my thoughts.

"Yeah, I'm excited!" I say smiling.

[I'm here.-Aaron]

"Here I go." I say as I get up and leave my bedroom and walk downstairs.

"Have fun." Audrey says as we both get out of my house and I close the door.

"Thanks man, see ya later" I thank Audrey and wave goodbye as Audrey walks home.
