Falling for Him

Chapter 4 

The whole week basically flew right by. Friday is here, great, my first date with Justin, and I don't even like him like that. Noelle set all of this up, and she's not even going to be there. I haven't talked to Audrey ever since Aaron asked her out, so that's gonna be completely awkward. I don't even know what to wear. What would Aaron like Ugh oh my gosh who cares what Aaron likes, I should be worrying about what Justin likes.

It was the movies so I decide to wear comfy clothes. I put on black hollister skinny jeans and a comfortable baggy grey sweatshirt that says "Pink" on it. Just then my phone buzzes and I receive a text 

[I'm here, meet me outside. :)-Justin] 

I walk outside and see a black mustang and Justin casually leaning on his car waiting for me.  

"Hey", I say smiling at him. 

"Hey. You looked beautiful, as always" he says with a sweet smile, as he opens the door for me.

Once we arrive, we spot Aaron and Audrey buying their tickets. We walk toward them and I say a quick hello to Audrey and then I face Aaron.  

"Hi.." I say awkwardly. He doesn't respond, and he just stands there staring at me, as if I had 3 eyes. Then finally Audrey nudges him and he says, "Oh...Umm... Hey.." Justin puts his arm around me and walks me toward the ticket booth.

We go into the theater and take a seat in the middle, to get the best view. I sit in between Aaron and Justin. During the beginning of the movie, Justin puts his arm around me, and I can feel chills going up and down my body. I don't have the feelings I have when Aaron would be next to me. I see Aaron tensing up a little and I smile to myself. Good, he's getting jealous. He then takes Audrey's hand in his own, and their fingers intertwine with each other. The thought of that makes me sick. Heat is blazing up in my cheeks. Good thing that the theater is dark enough so nobody sees it.

Justin opens a pack of licorice and starts eating it. He offers me some, and instead of taking it like a normal person, I open my mouth and wait for a piece to fly in. He looks confused for a second, then ,gingerly, puts a licorice into my mouth. I smile as I eat it and Aaron does the same to Audrey. I don't even like licorice, so I just stuff as much as I can into my mouth because i'm hungry. Then a funny part of the movie comes on and I double over in laughter. Licorice gets stuck in my throat. Uh oh.. I was choking on licorice! I cough and try to get it out, but it doesn't get out of my throat. Justin turns to me and finally sees whats happening to me, and he puts his arm around my stomach and pushes to help get the licorice out. Aaron stands up and looking really worried. He tries to help, but there really isn't anything he can do.

"HEY sit down, we're trying to watch a movie!" One guy rudely says to Aaron.

Everyone around us get in a heap of confusion and start telling each other"SHHHHHH", and that really didn't help.

Finally, I manage to get the licorice out of my throat and spit it right at Aaron's face! It landed right on his nose. I was still trying to recover from my choking attack, so I couldn't say sorry. He seems to not really care, he wipes it off his face and asks,  

"are you ok? I was so worried."

"I'm..fine...thank...you..." I manage to say.

"Oh Ally! You don't like licorice, why were you eating so much of it?" Audrey asks as she hugs me tightly.

"Let's go outside, this movie sucks anyways." Justin says over all the other talking. We all agree.

"Thank you so much for saving me Justin." I say, wrapping my arms around him.

As I pull away, he starts to lean closer to me as if trying to kiss me! Just before I could pull away, Aaron comes in between us and roughly pushes Justin away. Before Justin could yell at Aaron, I check my phone, and pretend that my mom just texted me to come home. So I ask Justin to take me home. I say goodbye to Aaron and Audrey, leaving them standing alone in front of the movie theater.

Aaron's POV

I really could not stand the fact that Justin and Ally were about to kiss. It just racks my mind. Im so glad they left before I had to awkwardly explain why I did what I did. Audrey and I are awkwardly standing there all alone. She breaks the silence, and says,  

"I know you like Ally. You're just using me to make her jealous. I'm not stupid. I can tell by the way you look at her and how she makes you fall head over heels, just by saying "Hi" to you. She's my best friend, and I can tell she likes you too. Not sure if you noticed, but when you asked me out. she was really mad. I really like you, but I can't force you to like me. Plus, you'd be perfect for Ally. She's my best friend and I want the best for her. I ship you and Ally", she smiles and winks at me as she finishes her speech. I return her smile, with really big one, and pull her in for a hug.  

"Thank you for understanding, Audrey. You're a really nice girl, and one day, a guy will make you feel very special, I promise you."

"You go get her tiger" Audrey says with a wink. I then lead her to my car, and take her home.
