I should really pay more attention

I woke up today feeling....crappy. I mean obviously you can't blame me. Who wants to be woken up by their annoying radio alarm at six in the morning to go to a job that only pays minimum wage? Anyways, I can already tell today is going to be a horrible day. I can tell by the fact that it's raining cats and dogs outside and also because I tripped and fell because my annoying cat was in the way.

"Ugh just leave me alone Figaro!"

I exclaimed as Figaro started meowing at me. As I awoke even more I recognized the familiar tone blaring through my radio.

"OH! OH, OH! THAT'S WHAT MAKES YOU BEAUTIFUL!"  One Direction's annoyingly catchy tune rang through my ears. Not being able to resist myself, I purposely knocked it over. Oops. Don't get me wrong. I don't HATE them. It's just....I dislike them.

After taking a shower and putting on my ugly work uniform, I grabbed an apple and started my walk down the familiar route to 'Tony's Family Restaurant' my extremely awesome job. Note sarcasm.

I got to work and put on my apron. Then I remembered it was Saturday which meant the restaurant was going to be full of customers.

"Oh great." I muttered under my breath as I started serving the first customer. This was going to be a long day.

I closed up shop at six o'clock after 10 hours of work. Everybody had left, including my coworkers, and I was finally able to go home.

As I was crossing the street I didn't notice that the traffic light had changed from red to green, meaning the cars were coming. I didn't notice the ear-splitting loud screams. I didn't notice the black van hurtling straight towards me 80 miles per hour. I just noticed a crash, and I remember feeling numb, before I completely blacked out.
