“Thanks for coming Lee, I know it’s nearly impossible for you to be in public, especially now that everyone knows about the baby, but my friends really want to meet you and the fair is always fun,” Cassidy was rambling on but all I could down as smile at her. She was so cute and worried that I was going to be upset that she wanted to go to the fair.

“Cassidy calm down ya? I know to go. I want to meet your friends, now, let’s go.” I laughed and pulled her into my chest for a tight hug. And then proceeding to pull her by her hand out of her front door to the outside. I could tell that Cassidy was nervous about today.

This would be the first time that Cassidy I were seen together since I had basically outted the pregnancy. Which I didn’t mind doing, I was ready for the world to know. But coming to the fair not even twenty-four hours after could cause some drama. I didn’t mind though, I would protect Cassidy from the fans mostly because I cared about her and because she was pregnant.

“I promise this will be fun. Ad we only have to go today, then we can do whatever you want for the rest of the time you’re here. And then in just seven days Liam, seven! We find out if it’s a girl or boy!” Cassidy was nearly jumping up and down she was so excited about the baby. I was really excited as well but I was to distracted by her joyness to jump with her, she was so beautiful it captivated me.

“I’m going to win you a prize at the fair and we’re going to make it interesting.” I looked down at her now. Her brown eyes calmed down as she suddenly really interested in what I had to say. I had to, I just had to. I leaned down and pressed a gentle kiss on her lips just because I could now.

I wouldn’t tell anyone this. But the next time I saw Cassidy, while we were in London after finding out the sex of the baby, I was going to take her to a really romantic restaurant and we would go for a walk on the beach, do whatever she wanted to do, and then I was going to ask her to be my girlfriend. She was almost eighteen weeks pregnant, far enough along to see the sex of the baby, it was time to make it official.

“How are we going to make it interesting Mr. Payne?” She raised an eyebrow at me and swayed our hands back and forth between us. I couldn’t help but look at how beautiful she was with the sunlight hitting her face. Her baby bump was becoming more noticeable everyday and I couldn’t wait until our little fellow or fella was here.

“If I win at sky ball, it’s a boy. If I win at basketball, it’s a girl,” I knew that my logic was way off and Cassidy saw that but somehow she found a way to play along. It had occurred to me that the whole pregnancy we joked about the sex but she swore it would be a girl and I was determined it would be a boy.

“You’re on,” She narrowed her eyes jokingly at me only to laugh while I joined in. We were at the fairgrounds already and it wasn’t but five minutes before she was attacked by her friends. I watched four girls wrap their arms around Cassidy pulling her away from me. I couldn’t help but smile, after everything her friends treated her normal, it was like I wasn’t there. For that I was thankful.

“Oh hi!” A blonde girl said suddenly noticing my being there. This made all the girls look at me. And that gave me the chance to tug Cassidy back into my side by her waist. I just smiled and nicely waved to the four girls.

“Told you!” I shouted. I was officially comfortable around Cassidy’s friends enough to be myself. We were all eating funnel cakes at a table before I was going to play games with Cassidy while the other girls met up with some friends.

“No one likes a smart ass Payne!” Lexy smiled sticking her tongue out at me. I just mocked her rolling my eyes. When Lexy went back to talking to Savanna and Chelsey I picked a piece off of Cassidy and I’s funnel cake throwing it at Lexy. She flailed nearly off the table and glared at me.

“I’m going to get you!” She shouted back at me reaching for her 44 oz cup of red slush. I quickly stood up pulling Cassidy with me by her hand and ran through all the people. I kept glancing back to make sure that Lexy wasn’t right on, but all four of the girls were chasing us.

“Run!” Cassidy yelled through her laughter pulling me behind a cart for lemonade and Nachos, weird combination if I say so. Cassidy pushed us against the back of the metal cart and looked over the side to watch for the girls. When she was sure they had left and upressed herself from me.

“Is that Liam Payne?!” I looked to my right to see Cheyenne, Chelsey and Savanna. I groaned as some adults looked around at us and I was about to turn to the left and run but as soon as my body turned I was met with red slush in my face.

“Got you.” Lexy giggled tossing her cup to the side. I wiped the slush from my eyes and glared at the girls who were all laughing, including Cassidy. I couldn’t stay upset about getting slushied if it entertained Cassidy that much.

“Well I’m going to go wash myself,” I told the girls. They didn’t stop laughing as I walked away towards the boys room.

When I got there I was thankful there was no line. I walked right up to a sink and pulled some paper towels from the dispenser getting them wet. I was almost completely cleaned up when my phone in my pocket vibrated. I instantly pulled it out worried that is was Cass looking for me. But I was met with a surprise.
