Ch.14

You woke up a little while later around noon with only one thing on your mind, food. Forgetting where exactly you were, you got up and walking slowly and tiredly down stairs for some breakfast. When you entered the kitchen realization hit you, you were still in Mikes house. Turning around you came face to face with you pun-tastic co-worker.
"Well good morning, (y/n)." He said with a small smile.
"Morning." You replied.
"Sleep well?" He asked, making his way to the coffee. You nodded your head and proceed to search the kitchen for some breakfast.
"Do you have any, like, breakfast food?" You questioned, not being able to find anything but random weird food.
"Um, I have a muffin if you want?" He said and reached on top the fridge, bringing down a blueberry muffin(or what ever muffin you want). He handed the you the muffin, you taking it almost immediately.
"Thanks." You smiled and took a bite. It wasn't the best muffin in the world, but it wasnt bad. You two ate in silence for a while until Mid way through your muffin, Mike said something a little surprising.
"Okay, (y/n), I was gonna be creative about this, but I'm just gonna say it, do you want to go on a date?" He said it so straight forward, you didn't know what to say. Was he serious?
"Y-yeah, sure, why not." You stuffed the rest of the muffin in your mouth in order to keep you from rambling anymore.
"Okay, cool." He grabbed a mug from the cabinet and got some coffee, sipping it calmly.

Time skip a couple hours~

'Why did I say yes?' You thought, you were caught up in the whole situation, sure Mike was a cool guy, but you kinda wanted to be friends longer before you actually went on a date, it's just stressful.
'If I tell him I don't want to go on the date, he'll think I'm pushing him away.' You were very confused on what to do. Should you go on the date and make him happy, or feel comfortable yourself and stay home? It's conflicting because you know in sure time you'll probably come to like him, so is this your only chance? Should you take it? Why are emotions so frustrating?! Maybe you can explain you just want to hang out, it will that be awkward because you already said yes? Why are relationships this confusing.

You sighed, laying down in your own bed, thinking sleep will help, you drifted away into your dreams. You woke a little while later to your phone buzzing. It was a bunch of texts...from Mike.

Mike:hey, you up?
Mike:I was thinking about the date, where should we go?
Mike:I know this really nice place

Why was he doing this, you thought Mike was more the tsundere type? This was kinda overwhelming, but you thought if you give it more time you'd get used to it.

Ahhhhhh I'm so so so so sorry for not updating, I'm trying my best, I just need some more ideas, so if you guys got any you want to share that would be great. Also sorry for the shity chapter
