Make You Miss Me

I'm gonna make you miss me. I'm not mad at you for hurting me. Have I cried? No. And I won't. Instead I'll make you wish I was still yours. I'll make sure you'll see that I'm perfectly fine without you, that I don't need you. I was okay before I met you, and I'll be okay without you. I'll go and find someone else when I'm ready. One day, you'll see us together. See us hold hands and kissing each other. And you'll hear me protest against him buying me something. Then you will catch yourself thinking "I remember when that was us. When she would look at me like that." I don't think you realized that I'm different, that I'm not like most girls. You thought you could make me fall for you then just leave, and not think twice about it. But baby I had my walls built high, and you couldn't knock them down. You merely put a dent in them. You didn't ruin anything I couldn't fix. I can tell you one thing though, the only reason that you're good at goodbyes is cause every girl you ever met was to easy to forget. Baby I'm not going out like that. You'll miss me. Every time you see me with him, you're gonna wish that it was you I was giving all my attention to. But you're not that person anymore. And you are the one to blame. You were the one who stopped answering my texts, so I gave up trying. You'll regret it, and want me again. So you'll text me, but I won't answer. I won't see the point because when I wanted you, you didn't want me. You WILL miss me. Just wait and see.
