Two very different people, yet one in the same. Their relationship was different. They didn't show their affection where people would see. They didn't say I love you around other people. They didn't kiss in public.

They're both twenty-three years of age, it being a long year after the fall of the Empire and the start of the return of the Jedi. They were both Jedi themselves, she was his senior, as she's had more training, yet he was already stronger than herself. But they are alike. Han had always teased them about actually getting together after such a long time, she returned it with teasing him about Leia. What he didn't know, was that they already had. They had already broken the Jedi code and connected with each other on a deep level, so much so that they would be bonded to no one else than each other. When the lights were out and they tumbled together in bliss, they enter a world of their own making, they are the same. Their desires are the same; their wishes, breathed over muffled sheets and exchanged through hasty kisses, are utterly similar.

A whimper tears through her, the heat of his hand travelling up her thigh; she doesn't move, for fear of disrupting the passion saturated in the air. Her head tilts back as his mouth lingers near her neck, the anticipation was killing her. She just wished he would kiss her and stop this nonsense. Yet it was this nonsense that rushes excitement through her and fills her body with want- a fact he knows all too well.

When his thumb brushes over her sensitive inner thigh, Luke allows his lips to fall forward to her flushed skin. It amazed her she was already so ready for him, and yet he has barely touched her. That she was so ready to finally become one with him, to join their bodies in the pleasure they both so desired. His mouth kisses up her neck to her own lips, and she remembers why she acts in such a way. Why she can barely breath without him, and why she simply wants to curl up against him and forget who she is. Forget everything they've endured in their young lives. All the pain, the trauma, the death.

His blue eyes stare at her, he studies her for a while, probably noticing every single emotion she was feeling because they know each other so well. And, just as she expected, he rests his forehead against hers and murmurs, "We have to meet Han and the others in an hour."

Aria doesn't see it as the warning it intentionally came as, but more of a challenge. He sees the spark in her eyes and his lips twitch up in a smile. The movement causing warmth to spread in his gaze. She leans in to steal his smile and, in the process, nearly lost her train of thought. But she focuses again and hums into their kiss, fingers feebly grasping at the front of his robe-like shirt, "So...what are you trying to say?" Even though she already knows and just wants to hear him contradict himself.

And he does- contradict himself, I mean. She holds power over him that no other woman has, and though he doesn't want to admit it, he's helpless in the face of it. He's the hero who destroyed the Death Star, the one who went head to head with Darth Vader twice, the one who would restore the Jedi. And yet, she still held that power over him. His lips move forward to latch onto hers again, and into the kiss he whispers a soft, "I'm tryin' to say...an hour is still a very, very, very long time..." And with each 'very' he uttered, he pressed a kiss to a different area of her face.

She giggles, leaning backwards on the plush bed. Her arms curling around his neck and she brings him with her, so that he's leaning over her and pressing her body to the bed with his weight. It was something that only brought her strange relief.

They lay there for a short while, simply exchanging touches as their lips move together and their tongues battle. His hands were then moving under clothing and pulling at her own robe-like shirt, and she knows it's time to feel what she's so sought and longed for during their long flight back from a trip to Endor. What she's only imagined him doing to her during their travel, what they'd finally be able to do with each other once they were no longer in the presence of their friends and in the privacy of their own room on the planet of Naboo.
