Bright rays of sunlight stream over the large village, only warming everything the light touches. It was the day the Chunin exams were set to start, there was already ninja from neighboring countries entering the village and taking their time to look around and explore. Two of which were in the opposite state, and were lost among the crowds of native villagers, only turning them around even more so in confusion.
"Why don't we just ask someone, Kazuko?" a short statured girl asks the male at her side,
"We're obviously lost and we need to go register before it's too late."
Kazuko looks around, almost seeming to try and find the correct direction for them to go. He shakes his head once and looks at her with,
"We're fine, trust me. I'll figure out which way to go in a minute, just look around or something, Karasu."
She turns away from him with an annoyed expression on her face, they may be twins, but they certainly had their differences. Raising her head upwards, she can't help but smile as the sunlight hits her face, warming her skin slightly. The bright light had always made her happy, and even able to feel calm no matter what. Lowering her head, she spots someone with silver hair heading their way. He was dressed in what she could only assume was the villages' ANBU uniform, she had heard about them a few times before. They were some of the best ninja this place had to offer, it almost felt exciting to see one of them walking among the crowds they were supposed to protect, especially since it didn't seem like he was much older than she was. Their eyes met for a brief moment, only prompting her to turn back to her twin, embarrassment washing over her for some reason. Kazuko looks to her as she brushes against his arm, only prompting him to see the silver haired male had approached them. His right eye was a dark coal color, while his left was covered with the village headband. There was a bore tone to his voice as he starts to say,
"You two aren't from around here, and judging by your headbands I'd say you're here for the Chunin exams."
Kazuko nods once, Karasu only shrinks back a bit behind him. She keeps her voice low so only he can hear her,
"Ask him for directions, he's from here so he'll know where to go."
Her twin waves a hand in dismissal at her comment, before turning his attention back to the silver haired ninja. He then says,
"Yeah, we're actually looking for where the registration is. Mind giving us a hand?"
The male in front of them nods and simply says,
"Follow me."
He walks past them, only prompting the two to follow behind him. They kept a few paces behind, in doing so Karasu says quiety,
"See? It wasn't that hard to ask someone."
Her twin rolls his eyes and mutters,
"Yeah, yeah. I still could have figured it out on my own."
They continued following the male before coming to a building they could only assume was the academy they had to train up and coming ninja. The ninja leading them takes them to the front door and says with a soft sigh,
"This is where you need to register, it's right inside. Good luck."
He goes to leave, but stops in his tracks when Kazuko calls after him,
"Hey, wait! We didn't even get your name!"
He continues walking at a slow pace, saying over his shoulder,
"Kakashi, Kakashi Hatake."

After registering for the exams, Kazuko and Karasu had decided to go around the villages and explore all the little shops there was to offer.
