WARNING: This one-shot is going to be graphic, with Bucky being slightly OOC. This will also be set after the events of Civil War, so it may or may not be correct- I'm just using what I know and changing a few things along the way, it also is non-canon in my main story with these two. It includes vulgar swearing and sexual situations. If you cannot handle either of those, I highly suggest you leave now.

If you decide to read further, I wish you the best

Moonlight streamed in through the cracks in the curtains, illuminating the bedroom that belonged to none other than Skylar Grey. She stirs in her bed, groaning from under a pile of pillows and two blankets. There's been more restless nights than she would have cared to count, all because of one person.

Bucky Barnes.

Things had started to calm down after the events with Hydra, Ultron, and the little dispute between Steve and Tony. Bucky had come to stay in the apartment Skylar and Steve shared, they didn't see him often though, as he tended to keep himself hidden away. And they gave him space, he was still in a state of shock- still recovering after it all. Skylar wanted to be there for him, be at his side down the road to recovery. But he pushed her away. Steve as well. It broke her heart, they were finally together again after over seventy years, yet they couldn't have been farther apart.

She throws her covers and pillows off to the side, sitting up and stretching. A loud yawn leaves her as she gets up and grabs a small throw blanket from the end of her bed, she drapes it over her shoulders and shuffles out of the room. She rubs her eyes tiredly while heading to the kitchen, it was nearly three in the morning, the usual time she had been getting up due to restlessness.

She was home alone, as Steve had gone out for the night. She didn't know what for, and she respected him by not asking about it. Her eyes were half lidded as she opens the fridge and grabs a bottle of water, before closing it and turning around to head back to bed. But she nearly drops her bottle as she sees someone standing just a few feet away from her. She places the bottle on the counter and puts a hand over her chest, her heart beating rapidly.

"Steve?" She calls out, almost timidly,

"Is that you? You're back earlier than I expected."

Skylar squints her eyes to try and get a better look at the person, it was difficult with the dark lighting. The person steps forward, into a section of moonlight streaming in from the window to her left, revealing them to be someone other than she expected.

"Oh, Bucky? I didn't know you were home, I'm glad to see you,"

She says with a tired smile on her face, thinking nothing other of his presence. Grabbing her bottle, she starts her trek back to bed. As she was walking past him, he suddenly grabs her upper arm with his mechanical one, his fingers dug harshly into her skin. Her brow furrows in confusion while looking at him,

"Bucky...what are you doing? That hurts."

He turns his head to look at her slowly, his features relatively blank. She noticed his eyes were dull, even with the dim light. It startled her, making a sinking feeling settle in her stomach,

"Bucky?"

"Shut the fuck up," His voice was low and harsh as he spoke, making her suddenly fearful,

"Your voice is irritating me."

Her lips pull taught as she refrained from saying anything else, fear keeping her from doing so. He turns to her fully, he was dressed in a pair of loose fitting blue jeans and no shoes, and a gray flannel that was open at the front, revealing him to be bare chested underneath. Her eyes drifted to his left shoulder, where the scars of his mechanical arm were showing slightly. He notices her gaze, he yanks her closer to himself while growling,
