Loud voices filled (name's) ears as (he/she) settled on the stool, it had been a long day and (name) had wanted to go out for a drink to relax. It didn't seem to be helping much, as it felt like everyone there was drunk out of their minds. (He/She) picked up the drink before them, bringing it to their lips and letting the liquid slide over their tongue. It only sake, but it was still great to have every once in a while. (Name) glances to the right as a voice asks,
"You don't look very happy, something on your mind?"
(He/She) recognized the person as Kakashi Hatake, better known as the Copy Ninja. (Name's) seen him around the village, and has even gotten to know him better a while ago, even considering themselves to be friends. A huff passes (name's) lips in what seemed like annoyance, and then replies,
"You could say that, I suppose. What are you doing in a place like this? I didn't think you were that kind of man."
Kakashi laughs quietly as he settles himself on the stool next to (name), his back to the bar counter as his dark eye scans over the crowd of people,
"I'm not, Gai practically dragged me here. Although, a drink every once in a while isn't so bad. I may be leaving soon though, as Gai over there-"
He pauses, motioning to said Jounin in the crowd that was slightly hunched over as he laughs out of his mind,
"Seems to have gotten in over his head already."
(Name) turns on (his/her) stool, spotting the one he was talking about and couldn't help but smile. (He/She) takes another drink of (his/her) sake, then replies with amusement laced in their voice,
"You may be right about that, I haven't seen Gai like that in quite a long time. It's kind of nice actually, to see he's still about to have fun like this."
"I couldn't agree more," Kakashi says with a soft sigh,
"Things have been tense around the village lately, we deserve a break like this."
~
Kakashi and (name) had spent nearly another hour and a half talking, oblivious to the fact of themselves becoming more and drunk with each passing minute. (Name) wasn't nearly as out of it as the silver haired male, however. He was already hunched over on his stool, an almost dazed look in his visible eye. It was obvious to (him/her) that he needed to go home before things got any further, so (he/she) takes his hand in (his/her) own and pulls him from his stool. They had lost track of Gai a little while ago, but (name) had a feeling that (he/she) didn't need to worry about him. Kakashi stumbles along behind (name) as they exit the bar and start to head down the nearly empty path.
He seemed to be a bit confused as to where they were going, because he then asked in a slurred manner,
"Where err we...uhh..going?"
(Name) glances back to him, sober enough to reply,
"I'm taking you home."
An almost sly look seemed to cross over Kakashi's masked face, because he then says,
"I didn't think..you liked me that way."
"I don't," (he/she) replies as warmth spreads over (his/her) cheeks,
"You're drunk, you moron."
(Name) felt Kakashi hold (his/her) hand a bit tighter, prompting (him/her) to look at him. Despite his mask still being on, it was obvious there was a smile on his face as he then says,
"Thank you, for taking care of me."
