[Kirsten's Point Of View:]

In the middle of the movie, I heard 'pit-pat' sounds outside my window. I thought it was the rain was pelting hard against my window panes, but it was not the rain.

I saw a black figure freerunning on the lawn. It vaulted and made its way to my balcony. My heart pounded at the sight of the figure.

My body stiffened, I felt beads of perspiration forming on my forehead.

My heart skipped a beat when I saw the black figure at my window. I was completely immobilized with fear when it knocked on the window pane.

[Hayes' Point Of View:]

I stood on the black steel ladder next to Kirsten's window. I was wearing black and it felt hot inside though I was soaked in water.

Kirsten just sat there, looking at me. Wait. Maybe it was the black face paint. Or..

I just do not know. I knocked on her window, but to no avail, no words came out. There was an incredulous look on her face.

[Kirsten's Point Of View:]

Being a dimwit, I answered to the figure that knocked on my window, "Yeah. What do you want?"

I thought my soul was going to be sucked out of my living figure and I would be left as a cadaver on my bed.

I squinted my eyes to analyze the black figure further.

My face turned red with anger, I unlocked the window and pushed it forward.

"HAYES. WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?"

I pulled Hayes into my room and slammed my window shut.

"YOU ALMOST KILLED ME. WHAT THE FUCK GOT INTO YOU?"

"WHAT ARE DOING HERE AT 12. 57 AM IN THE FIRST PLACE?

I raved and ranted, oblivious to the curious stare of Kris.

"ARE YOU TRYING TO FUCKING KILL ME?"

I questioned Hayes as I clenched my fist, badly wanting him to be teared apart.

"I was just going to ask you if you'd like to go midnight exploring with Bridgette, Cameron, Tez and I." Hayes answered me with a slightly cheeky grin on his face.

Kris left and I got my bag and stuffed jackets, pants and other essential articles of clothing into my bag.

I grabbed my sunglasses, phone, wallet and charger and darted out the door after calling Kris to come with us. She declined because she wanted to meet up with her friends and had to go somewhere tomorrow.

I asked Hayes to get back down to the front porch to wait for me. I changed into a hoodie and black denim jeans and hopped out the window. I climbed down the ladder and I got into Hayes' minivan.

Despite our efforts to leave inconspicuous, our house guard spotted me leaving with Hayes at 1 a.m. and asking Hayes to pull over.

I had to explain the whole thing to Smith, our house guard, before leaving.

I asked him if he could keep this as a secret and he agreed.

Nevertheless, we drove off and Smith did not mind.

We drove around Los Angeles, looking for pseudovisions to explore but the places we passed were the ones we had already ventured.

Hayes turned on the radio when we could not find any close abandoned buildings ahead.

We sang to the songs as we kept driving until we found an abandoned hospital. It was the Orange Town County Hospital in Pomona.

Cameron had one foot in the car and one foot out on the driveway of the hospital. He was about to step out of the car until Hayes called out to him, "Dude! I found a better place to explore in Long Beach. Let's stop by Walmart and get some gas before we head there."

Cameron hopped back into the car, sat beside Bridgette, and we were off on our way to? Hayes. Where exactly are you bringing us?

We were off to Walmart.

[Hayes' Point Of View:]

I had a whole trip planned.

I was talking to Kirsten the other day and she was thinking about a road trip. So why don't I incorporate two things that are really close to our hearts. Parkour and road trips.

I am still not apologizing for scaring Kirsten. Anyways, she looked cute when she was angry.
