Chapter 8

Okay,I kept telling my self.just be cool be the girl you was on the trail. We got into his car which was ice cold. I loved it honestly I'd rather freeze than burn up, and usually in the Virginia summer,burning up is your only option.

"so,do you like music?" Harry asked.

I laughed "yea I like music." Harry turned up the radio and surprisingly my favorite song made in the USA by Demi lovato was on. I have always loved music ever since I was little I would always get lost in music. I knew I was singing along but I didn't realize how loud until I looked over and Harry was smiling at me.

"your amazing."

"what? No, that was just the radio not me."

"whatever you say."

We pulled up to the Chinese restaurant and went in. While the waitress went to show us our table I started to look around. Everyone was starring at us. Even this one girl had her mouth wide open showing her noddles. Eew. How does he handle all of this? The waitress lead us to our table once we were seated she gave us our menus and asked what we wanted to drink. I ordered sweet tea while Harry ordered a Pepsi.

We sat there a little awkwardly until he finally spoke up.

"you okay babe?"

"yes, I'm sorry I was just distracted."

"by what?"

Oh god I couldn't answer this considering the fact that I was distracted by him. I couldn't get over his green eyes, and how gentle but serious he looked.

He looked at me and for some reason I broke. "you."

He smiled "well, that's a relief I thought there was something wrong with me."

"never! So do you know what your gonna order?"

He looked at the menu and focused on it for a few seconds and at that time the waitress came back.

"so have you guys decided on what to order?" Harry looked at me so I ordered first

" umm I will have some crab Rangoon and the broccoli and beef"

Harry looked up from his menu "and I will also have the crab Rangoon, and the curry chicken." the waitress smiled and took our menus. While we waited on our food me and Harry talked about our favorite sports. We spent ages on arguing about the Packers and the giants. The waitress finally came back. Good I was starving.

We ate in silence for a few minutes only because both of us were hungry. We both found ourselves racing to see who could finish first. I was half way thru my broccoli and beef, when I looked up at him and he was making a face because his crab Rangoon was too hot. I couldn't help but to laugh and he did too. He wiped his mouth and smiled at me. "ya know I like a girl with an appetite."

I laughed. "I have honestly never done this. The only time I ever ate like a pig was when me and Mia was at the lake and I was so hungry that I stole this bag of chips from this cookout."

He laughed at that "such a naughty girl, and Mia? I think niall has taken quite a liking to her."

"really"

"yes really he is in love"

Well this was nice to hear. After we finished we left a tip and got out of there. Once again I noticed the starring.

The club was only a block away so there wasn't much to discuss. There was a huge line outside. "oh god"

"don't worry, I called before hand were on the list."

I have never been on the list before! We got out the car and started to walk up to the front. At the front stood a group of girls. They looked way to familiar. One turned around and the huge grin on my face dropped. Of course laken Harvey had to be here. She was the first bully I have ever had. My very first day of school was my worst. All I remember was having an asthma attack because I was being chased by her and her friends then I feel and she took my inhaler. She turned around and gave me a face "what are you doing here?"

I looked down "I'm on a date" she laughed

"with who?" Harry came rushing up and took me by the arm

"with me." I didn't say another word but when I looked back her eyes were huge and her mouth was wide open. The club was filled with life. There were tons of people and once again I felt all eyes on us. I awkwardly played with my hair and looked at the ground until we found a spot.

"want to dance?" Harry asked

Oh god I didn't think of this. I hated dancing I've always sucked. And I didn't wanna make a fool out of my self but once again I broke "sure"

A really upbeat song was on but the moment we started to dance it stopped and a slow song came on. Harry pulled me in closer. I put my arms around his neck while he put his around my waist.

Harry leaned in closer to my ear and sang the lyrics. It was so hard to not be nervous. I wasn't use to this but I relaxed and rested my head on his shoulder. " your amazing you know." he whispered

" no I'm nothing special"

"to me you are" the song finished and I looked at him. He smiled at me. I felt like I was lost and my heart started beating fast. I looked down trying not to let him see me blush. He lifted my chin and once again we were starring into each others eyes. I stopped breathing for a second. And Harry started to move in.
