Leann's POV:
The next day of school went by quick. Caitlin got together with her crush, Zack, this morning and Elka had her first kiss with her new boyfriend, Zayn, a senior in high school. No we can all obsess about our love live's to each other. After my morning classes finished, it was time for lunch. As I walked with Bryan to our table, there were more people than usual sitting there. Zack, Caitlin, Elka, Zayn, and a couple of popular kids were sitting with us. As I sat down, one of the popular girls came up to me and hugged me.
"Happy 3 1/2 month anniversary, Leann!"
I hugged her back asking her how she knew that.
"Elka told me all about you and Bryan, you two are perfect for each other!
I looked over to see Elka grinning from ear to ear. I shook my head as I took a bite into my sandwich. Bryan's arm was planted around my shoulder as we chatted about our day and made jokes about Elka and Caitlin starting a new relationship.
"How long have you been together? Are you going on a date anytime soon?
"Use caution when kissing!" I chimmed in looking over to Bryan.
"It was only one time!" He shouted laughing.
The whole table started to laugh at my joke. The rest of the day went by in a blink of an eye, but the day wasn't over yet. It was then 2:55 as I sat in history class staring at the clock. My teacher had told us all to talk quietly for the last five minutes of class since Christmas Break starts tomorrow. I was wearing my black geek sweatshirt and light blue skinny jeans. I had on red vans and the silver infinity necklace that Bryan gave to me. My hair was pin straight and I had a white beanie in my back pocket.
The bell rang as I walked towards Bryan holding his hand. Today Bryan, Caitlin, Elka, and I were going sledding at the park by my house. But first we had to drop off our backpacks at my house. As we opened the door to my house, I found my mom and dad crying at the kitchen table. My eyes almost popped out of my head. I looked over towards Bryan as he sighed. I told Elka and Caitlin to wait outside as me and Bryan talked to my parents. So far the dream was coming true.
I walked into my kitchen with Bryan asking my parents what had happened. They looked up towards me telling me that my sister Scarlett has cancer. That was when things went down hill. I ran to my mom with tears in my eyes as Bryan stood there not knowing what to do.
Bryan's POV:
Hearing Leann's mom say that her sister has cancer reminded me of the dream I had. The only way she would get better is for me and Leann to stay together. I wanted to blurt out everything, but I didn't want to change the topic. The only thing I could do was to comfort Leann and her family. I went over towards Leann and kissed her on the forehead. Things are going to get real difficult for her. I feel kind of bad for her. She is having so many nightmares. I don't want her to be scared, but I can't control that. Now Leann has to worry about cancer treatment for Scarlett during her Christmas break. Her mom told us to leave the house and have her and her father discuss things through. I grabbed Leann's hand and took her back outside.
"I have to tell you something. About the dream. I can't tell you the whole thing but I have to tell you a part of it." I mumbled.
"What is it?"
"Well, it was really confusing but we were in a white room, me on one side of the room and you on the other. A man stood in the middle of us with long brown hair and wore all white, it was God. He had said,"Bryan Thomas Andrews, Leann Marie Carter, thank you for making your future come true. All I did was tell you what would happen in your future, but your the ones that made it happen. I have never done this before, but the both of you proved to me that it is possible to love someone you met by surprise. Please Bryan, promise me that you and Leann stay together forever. I don't like to see the perfect love die." He looked at the both of us smiling. "I see great things coming your way, Leann."
You looked towards him and questioned, "What is going to happen to me? Is my sister going to me ok?"
"I can't promise that, but the only way she could come back to herself is for you two to stay together. You both promised each other to stay together, until the end of time. And that's what you shall do. But I must go, but remember, never leave each other's side, no matter what. I wish you both the best."
"He disappeared leaving the both of us in the white room. More happened in the dream though but it's only for me to know. But the only way Scarlett would be cured is for us to stay together. We can't separate or your sister is at risk of dying."
"He talked to you Bryan? That's great but to keep my sister alive we have to stay together?"
"Yes, as strange as it sounds, yes."
Elka and Caitlin stared at us confused. We would have to tell them sooner or later. We'll tell them on the way to the park. I kissed Leann on the lips as Elka and Caitlin awed in the background. We then took off down the street as me and Leann explained everything to them so they don't feel left out.
