***SKIPS TO PROM***
Leann's POV:
"LEANN! BRYAN IS GOING TO BE HERE IN AN HOUR, GET READY!" My mom shouted up the stairs. I was already in my dress with my hair fully curled. I was applying my make up to my eyes as I hummed 'One Direction- Best Song Ever'. I can't believe that today was the day I have been wishing for since kindergarden. The night that I would become Cinderella as my prince charming showed up at my door with a corsage in his hands as he slipped it onto my wrist. I would kiss him softly on the lips as he pulled me into a hug. I can't wait until he comes. As soon as I finished doing my make up, I slipped on my heels and took a look at myself in my mirror. I looked absolutely stunning. As I looked at my reflect in the mirror, I can't believe of how much I have grown over the years. I began to see a little girl look at me from my mirror. She had had long dark brown hair and bright blue eyes. It was me, but different.
"Look at how beautiful you look mommy! You look like a princess."
I blinked my eyes about three times and the little girl was gone. She was just my imagination. I shook it off as I walked down the stairs. My whole family was outside, my grandparents, aunts, cousins, everyone. I walked out of my front door seeing all of their heads turn towards me. I smiled as I walked towards them. My mom and dad stood to the side grinning from ear to ear. My sister was next to them. She did infact lose her hair, but their were still some of it left. She rans towards me as I hugged her with tears in my eyes.
"I'm going to keep fighting Leann, for you." she said squeezing me tightly.
She let go of me as Elka and Caitlin's family arrived outside of my house in their cars. The both of them stepped out of the car as I ran towards them. I hugged the both of them as they had tears in their eyes. We had dreamed of this moment from the moment we met.
"I can't believe this is actually happening." Caitlin said with tears in her eyes.
"Me either." I said trying to hold in the tears that were forming in my eyes.
We had took pictures together on my lawn before our dates got here. Their were about a million cameras flashing all at once. I felt like a movie star. After 10 minutes had passed, Bryan, Zack, and Zayn stepped out of Bryan's car. They were all in black and white tuxedos all holding a corsage in their hand. They all walked towards us as their faces were in complete shock.
"Leann! You look absolutely beautiful!" Bryan said while pulling me into a kiss. My parents had taken a photo of us as my lips pressed against Bryan's As we both pulled away from the kiss, he slid the corsage on my left wrist.
"You don't look bad yourself!" I replied to him.
After we took our pictures, I had to make a phone call, to Bryan's mom. I had made plans with her on Thursday for her to come by before prom. As I called her number, it ringed about 2 times before she finally answered.
"Leann, I'm a minute away, I will see you in a bit." she had said.
"Ok, I'm so excited for you to see Bryan!" I whispered.
"I can't wait either." she replied.
We had taken a group photo to make the time pass by. After about 1,000 pictures were taken, I saw the same blue minivan that I saw leave my neighbor's house. It was Bryan's mom, and the twins.
"What do we have here, straggelers coming by late?" my mom questioned me.
"Mom, this is a good friend of mine, I invited her to come by today."
I held onto Bryan's hand as she opened the car door. The twins had ran out of the car towards Bryan and I and hugged us tightly.
"Leann! You look like a princess!" they both had told me, "Bryan looks like your prince charming!"
"Uh Leann, how do they know me?"
"Well.." I mumbled. Bryan's mom walked towards the both of us pulling me into a hug.
"Leann, you look so beautiful!" she had said.
"Thank you, second mom!"
"Second mom?" Bryan butted in.
"Bryan?" she had questioned.
"Yes?"
"I'm your mother."
They both began to cry as he gave her the tightest hug ever.
Bryan's POV:
"I can't believe it! Thank you Leann! There is no way that I can possibly make this up to you!" I said to her. In my mind I was thinking of saying that sarcasticly, but I didn't want to give it away. Tonight was going to be the best night ever. I still have to tell my mom about it. I pulled her aside and I told her how I'm going to be proposing to Leann at prom. She cried as I then again pulled her into another hug.
"Good luck son. Tell me how it went." she whispered to me.
"Thanks mom. You coming here helped me a lot."
It was 8:00. The prom bus should be coming my now. Just as we speak, the bus pulls up infront of Leann's house. We all waved our goodbyes as we entered the bus. It all starts here, on this bus. I'm going to propose to the only girl that I will ever love in just a couple of hours. It scares me just thinking about it. As I sat on the bus next to Leann, my back pocket seemed to have been getting heavier and heavier as we drove to the school. Every year, they picked a theme for prom and never told us what it would be. I hope its something romantic.
Leann's POV:
As we finally arrived at the school after picking up everyone attending prom, I reached for Bryan's hand. I held onto it as my body shook. I kissed him on the cheek attempting to calm myself down. Didn't work. As we walked out of the bus, everyone was in line to get their picture taken. As Bryan and I stood online, Sherri walked towards the end of the line, behind us. I nugged Bryan and he turned his head towards Sherri. She was in a hot pink strapless dress that made her look like a tea cup. Her dress had large ruffles and lots of bling, it was possible to see her from more than a mile away.
"Hey, Leann!" she shouted.
"Hi." I mumbled, "I love your dress." I said while mentally slapping her in the face.
"You look so beautful. I wish I could be as pretty as you!"
I almost died. Sherri, called me pretty? How much has she had to drink? Is she on drugs?
"Thanks. You look absolutely gorgeous." I said to her in reply, "I hope you win."
"No no no, I hope you win Leann. See you later."
It was my turn to get my picture taken with Bryan. We stood infront of the camera and smiled as the bright flash blinded me. I blinked a couple of times before we walked into the school.
"Are you ready?" Bryan had asked me.
"No, not really, but what the hell, it's prom." I replied sarcasticly.
As we walked into the auditorium, white christmas lights lit up the room. There were tall, fake, evergreen trees that filled the room. White lanterns were hung from the branches and their was a huge dance floor with a DJ in the middle of it. Was I dreaming? I took my place on the dance floor with Bryan and we danced with Elka and Caitlin until it was time for the prom king and queen announcements. I had already memorized my speech only because if I did win. We had so much fun on the dance floor. We all danced like morons in the middle of the auditorium not giving a shit about what anyone else thought. Everything was perfect, until you heard the music die down and the sound of the principal's voice. It was time. Prom king and queen elections, were... now.
